Scientology Roots – Chapter Twenty-Four: Brothers of Light Mental and Spiritual Ideas

“These personalities are various groups of units within the larger group that constitutes life. When so-called “death” appears to drive life from our bodies Mr. Edison thinks that our personality “units” do not die, but continue to exist as substantial material things.

…Mr Edison stated:

“I believe our bodies are composed of myriads and myriads of infinitesimal entities, each in itself a unit of life, which band together to build a man. In our bodies these entities consistantly rebuild our tissues to replace those which are constantly wearing out.
Once conditions in the body become unsatisfactory…the entities simply depart from the body… Being indefatigable workers, they naturally seek something else to do. They either enter into the body of another man or even start work on some other form of life.”

I thought I would share with our readers here, rough drafts of a beginning organization of information into a book format. The information I am using is gathered from the combined efforts of my wife, myself, and the 123jump authors of Scribd.

The book Scientology Roots can be viewed as an Encyclopedia of Historic Events showing what Scientology really is and it’s relationship within the larger Game Plan of what we call The Slavemasters.      (or “Enslavers”)     The carrier subjects of Dianetics and Scientology are propagating the mental, religious, and political ideas of what some have termed The New World Order.

Here is Chapter Twenty-Four (out of 56 so far). Complete chapter listing (with links) is available at a special page for Series and Books.

Mike McClaughry

There are Creators and Creations.

Each Creator is an individual Being of unlimited capability.

Every Being is a Creator. No Being is a Creation.

The material universe is a series of creations, made by a vast multitude of the Creators.

Brothers of Light Religion Culminated in Scientology

In ancient times, the slavemasters called themselves gods and they used other humans as their slaves. They were just Beings with bodies who were asserting that they were gods as a means to make men subordinate to them. Earlier sections of this book give the details.

The idea about gods (religion) began as a means for some men to make others into slaves.

It is still that way today, to keep Beings thinking they are a creation of god, rather than realizing the truth that each Being is a Creator of unlimited capability. Thus you should worship and obey god – and also obey his spokemen. You know, be a good slave.

In every part of the world, where the idea about the gods was introduced, multiple gods  existed at first. In India, Persia, Mesopotamia, Egypt, Asia Minor, Greece, the Americas – numerous so-called gods were worshipped and served.

With the birth of Judaism, the single “I’m the best of the best” god idea was introduced and forced on the people. This false idea, based on a previous false idea of there even being “gods” at all, eventually spread around the world and many religions are an outcropping of the single god idea, including all sects of the Jews, Christians, Muslims, Freemasons, Rosicrucians, Scientology, and so on.

—–

In India, Mitra was a Hindu solar diety. Worship of him spread into Persia as Mithra.

Zoroastrianism was the Persian religion. Mithra was their God of Light and Wisdom, closely associated with the Sun. Mithra was also a deity of the Nesilim in Asia Minor.

Mithraism was present in Palestine (aka Canaan), and Palestine was under Roman rule.

Mithraism was then picked up by the Roman legions and they carried it back to Rome where it became one of the great religions of the Roman Empire, and in the 2nd century A.D. it was more general than Christianity. It then spread into Europe and became a world-wide religion called Mithraism.
Mithraism ideas were used to create many Jewish sects. These sects say that god is light and the members are called Soldiers of Light or Children of Light or Brothers of Light.

A popular Brothers of Light group around the time of Jesus Christ was the Gnostics.
Brothers of Light groups include Kabala practitioners, Hermeticism, Rosicrucians, Freemasons, and several others.

For a couple of thousand years the Brothers of Light groups have been talking about the numerous inferior evil demons that inhabit any given human body. They sought to rid themselves of the influence of these demons and their salvation was to unite with god.
Their ideas culminated in Scientology, that is exactly what is done on the OT levels – first you rid yourself of the inferior evil demons, then you unite with god.

L’Aurore Naissante (rising sun) was formed at Frankfurt-Am-Main, Germany in 1807.
Jewish families living in Frankfurt-am-Main were the Rothschilds, Schiffs, Adlers, Seligmans, Oppenheims, etc. Members of these families joined L’Aurore Naissante.

Some of the Jewish family names were:

Rothschild                          Guggenheim                  Speyer
Schiff                                  Oppenheim                    Hanuer
Seligman                             Adler                             Goldschmidt
Warburg                              Straus                             Sterns

Members of these families moved to New York City, where they helped form the Independent Order B’nai B’rith (IOBB) in 1843 and Temple Emanu-el in 1845.
Some of the names involved are:

Rothschild                          Guggenheim                  Loeb
Schiff                                  Oppenheim                    Lehman
Seligman                             Adler                              etc.
Warburg                              Straus

They consider themselves leaders of a “Kingdom of Priests” and “Brothers of Light”.

L’Aurore Naissante and Independent Order B’nai B’rith are Brothers of Light groups.

America was called the New World back then, so IOBB members also called it the New World Order. New World Order is an alternate name for Independent Order B’nai B’rith.

IOBB and Temple Emanu-el in New York City are headquarters that serve as the spearhead for the slavemaster’s grand plan to establish a One World government.
The IOBB is the visible headquarters. It is a front for the hidden top headquarters.

These same families became the leaders of Temple Emanu-el in New York City and they proceeded to dominate banking and every other industry in the United States, using their New York banks and their central “national bank” as the means to that nefarious end. Millions more would have their lives adversely affected or even lost at the hands of these people with their compassion-less and cold-blooded money-making for themselves.

These specific people and their ancestors have amassed great fortunes through some of the most despicable means, such as slave-trafficking, drug-trafficking, financing wars, self-serving banking practices and self-serving business practices. It is still being done today but different companies are being used than the ones that were used in the past.

These men and their selected few like-minded associates have brought the world national debt, income taxes, inflation, eugenics, wars, dominated banking and all major industry, toppled leaders of countries to maintain them in a slave state, etc. Their atrocious crimes against humanity would fill a huge book.

L. Ron Hubbard advocated the IOBB political and religious agenda. The slavemaster political agenda is senior, the religious agenda is only to help bring about the political goals – to turn the entire world population into a slave state ruled by the slavemasters.

This is the group that spawned Dianetics and Scientology and L. Ron Hubbard acted as their front man, as you will soon see by reading further. L. Ron Hubbard was not the source of the basic ideas found in Dianetics and Scientology. The Brothers of Light had already formulated those ideas, including the therapy, before Hubbard was even born.

Early Use of the Word – “Scientology”

L. Ron Hubbard was not the inventor of the word – “Scientology”.

Stephen Pearl Andrews was a leader in the religious movement called Spiritualism.

Spiritualism is a belief that the soul continues to exist after death of the physical body.  Spirits of the dead have the ability and inclination to communicate with the living.
Anyone may receive spirit messages, but formal communication sessions are held by “mediums”.

Spiritualism attracted a lot of attention because of the people who had lost loved ones in the American civil war and in World War I. Those people had a keen interest in talking to the spirits of their departed loved ones.

Spiritualists also believe in god. 16

In 1871, Stephen Pearl Andrews authored a book entitled -

The Primary Synopsis ofUniversology and Alwato, The New Scientific Universal Language

Here are some quotes from that book:

Scientology is therefore Universology developed in the spirit of the Exact Sciences, and is wholly new in kind. It is the Core or Centre and the most distinctive Department of Universology…    (page 37)

Scientology will re-assert and vindicate… Spiritualistic Realities and Tendencies…
(page 146)

It will be the supreme triumph of Scientology, the Exact Branch of this new Universal Science, to exhibit in Diagram, and by illustrative object-teaching, all the Root-thoughts of which the Human Mind is capable…    (page 165)

IOBB Research Into The Mind and Spirit

When the British East India Company ruled India, it took Hindu Vedic manuscripts back to England. Max Muller in Germany performed translations, including a 6 volume set of the Rig-Veda from 1849-1873. After specializing in Sanskrit in Germany, he moved to Oxford, where he performed his greatest work, editing the 51 volume Sacred Books of the East. Thus books about this religious data became available to Western researchers. 1

The IOBB wanted to find methods for “elevating the mental and moral character of the people of our faith”. Thus they wanted research done into mental and spiritual fields.

In 1880 Sigmund Freud was a Jew who lived and worked in Vienna, Austria.

The mentor of Sigmund Freud was Josef Breuer, a physician and psychiatrist. Breuer was treating Bertha Pappenheim in the summer of 1880. She was a disturbed woman showing hysterical symptoms. He found that when she recalled a series of memories back to a traumatic memory, one of her many symptoms would disappear.

Breuer was treating her with hypnosis twice a day and eventually all of her symptoms were gone. Breuer drew two important conclusions from his work with Bertha: that her symptoms were the result of thoughts that were buried in her unconscious and that when these thoughts were spoken and became conscious, the symptoms disappeared. 2

They noticed that simply remembering the incident was insufficient to produce a cure, the emotions had to be experienced for the release of symptoms to take place. Breuer called this catharsis, from the Greek word for cleansing. It was also called talking therapy.

Catharsis – The process of bringing repressed ideas and feelings into consciousness.

Freud began using this “cathartic treatment” under Breuer’s guidance. In 1893 Breuer and Freud summed up their joint explorations of this form of psychotherapy in a book called Studies in Hysteria. 3

Note -
The theory of the existence of a stimulus/response, subconscious mind was the basis of Dianetics and Scientology processing. Ron Hubbard called it the Reactive Mind. The cathartic technique developed by Breuer and Freud, was used as the method of therapy.
LRH book Research and Discovery Series Volume1 pages 68, 440, 441 -

“The early part of Freud’s work back around 1894 was good and we can use it.

…Breuer’s first belief in the subject of mental catharsis… Breuer was pretty right. It was Breuer’s theory that full recall equalled full sanity…”

Ron Hubbard also followed Freud in stating that traumatic memories form in “chains”. (Chains: Any series of incidents which have similar content.)

Freud said: “What left the symptom behind was not always a single experience. On the contrary, the result was usually brought about by the convergence of several traumas, and often by the repetition of a great number of similar ones. Thus it was necessary to reproduce the whole chain of pathogenic memories in chronological order, or rather in reversed order, the latest ones first and the earliest ones last; and it was quite impossible to jump over the later traumas in order to get back more quickly to the first, which was often the most potent one.” 4

Mr. Hubbard says “Reduce every engram you contact and when the engram will not reduce try to get the earlier one like it which keeps it from reducing and reduce that. Follow this procedure. Discover the basic of that chain and reduce it.” “Basic” is defined as “The first engram on any similar chain of engrams”.

An engram is defined as a mental image picrture of an incident containing physical pain and unconsciousness.

One way Freud found traumatic incidents was through the repetition of a phrase often used by the patient. Dianetics also used this method, calling it repeater technique.

1882 – Society for Psychical Research co-founded in London by Frederick Myers, etc. The SPR was the first to examine paranormal phenomena in a scientific way.

Investigation of Spiritualist phenomena was the focus of their work. They investigated hypnotism, clairvoyance; telepathy; sensitives; mediums; ghosts and hauntings.

They formed six research committees to investigate hypnotism and clairvoyance; telepathy; sensitives; mediums; ghosts and hauntings; and records and archives.

Edmund Gurney studied the psychological aspect of Hypnotism in England.

Sir Oliver Lodge was a champion of survival, an avid believer in Spiritualist concepts.

William Eglington was noted for outdoor and daylight materializations and also for slate-writing Mediumship. William Gladstone sat with Eglington, and he was then sufficiently impressed to join the Society for Physical Research.

Leonore E. Piper of Boston, USA, allowed herself to be subjected to the most exacting scientific investigation of her Mediumship for a period of 45 years.

Dr. Richard Hodgson made a study of the Mediumship of Leonore Piper, through which he became completely convinced of the reality of spirit return. The development of his own mediumistic powers late in life brought to him an even deeper conviction. 5
The major attempt to synthesize the great mass of data which had been gathered was undertaken by Frederick Myers in his work published in 1903. The book was titled The Human Personality and Its Survival of Bodily Death. It has been called a classic, that has established psychical research as an organized science.

Myers was widely read in all the fields of knowledge of his day. His book is still regarded as the most important single work in the history of psychical research. Even those who do not accept his hypothesis of the survival of the soul are indebted to his explorations of the unconscious and subliminal regions of the personality. 5

Frederick Myers was the first writer to introduce the works of Sigmund Freud to the British public in 1893. 5

Sigmund Freud became a member of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith, and the SPR.

An affiliate was set up in America, the American Society for Psychical Research.

SPR presidents include Henri Bergson and British Prime Minister Arthur J. Balfour. 6
Arthur Balfour was a member of the Round Table. Cecil Rhodes created the Round Table in 1891. Its goal is a world government and the major slavemasters, like the Rothschilds, are members. The Jewish international bankers assumed control of the Round Table and they used it to establish other groups working for World government.

The SPR is one place where the relationship is seen between various slavemaster groups. The SPR shows their ties together, and each group was engaged in “social engineering”.
Some noteworthy SPR members:

Arthur Balfour was a member of the Round Table

Frank Podmore, member of the Fabian Society
George Wyld, President of the British Theosophy Society
Sigmund Freud, member of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith (IOBB)
Henri Bergson, his sister Mina Bergson was in the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn
Thomas Edison – promoter of the “Life Units” idea that was later used in Scientology

All of these slavemaster-originated or slavemaster-dominated groups practiced social engineering. They aim to covertly manipulate people into having certain slavemaster-induced ideas and realities. The people in these groups are connected and some of them are members in more than one of the groups – for example some Golden Dawn members were also members of the Theosophy Society.

The Fabian Society, also working to make a “new world”, has a wolf in sheep’s clothing as its coat of arms. It is a good symbol for all the New World Order people and groups.

Here are a couple of quotes from Fabian Society adherents -
.

“Behind the division of humanity stand those Enlightened Ones whose right and privilege it is to watch over human evolution and to guide the destinies of men…This they do through the implanting of ideas in the minds of the world thinkers, so that these ideas in due time receive recognition and eventually become controlling factors in human life. They train the members of the New Group of World Servers in the task of changing these ideas into ideals. These in turn become the desired objectives of the thinkers and are then taught to the powerful middle class and worked up into world forms of governments or religion, thus forming the basis of the new world order” – Alice Bailey (Fabian Author, Head of the Lucis Trust)

“To play those millions of minds, to watch them slowly respond to an unseen stimulus, to guide their aspirations without their knowledge – all this whether in high capacities or in humble, is a big and endless game of chess, of ever extraordinary excitement” – Sidney Webb (co-founder of the Fabian Society)

Society for Psychical Research was slavemaster research into mental and spiritual phenomena for social engineering purposes.

1885 – The American Society for Psychical Research was formed in New York City.

The Society for Psychical Research and the American Society for Psychical Research were created by leading scientists of the day to study mediums who claimed they could contact the dead or produce other psychic effects. They produced reports about precognitive dreams, descriptions of table levitations, accounts of ghost sightings, etc. 8

When the American Society for Psychical Research was founded in 1885, telepathy became the first psychic phenomenon to be studied scientifically by the SPR and ASPR.

The term telepathy was coined by Fredric W. H. Myers in 1882 – by using the Greek terms tele (distant) and pathe (occurrence or feeling). Myers thought his term described the phenomenon better than previous terms; thought-transference, and thought-reading.

The first testing was simple. A sender in one room would try to transmit a two-digit number, a taste, or a visual image to a receiver in another room. Physiologist Charles Richet introduced mathematical chance to the tests, and also discovered that telepathy occurred independent of hypnotism.

Mesmerism means hypnotic induction by Mesmer’s method, believed to involve animal magnetism; intense fascination. It means hypnotism.

Research interest in telepathy had its beginning in Mesmerism. The magnetists discovered that telepathy was among the so-called “higher-phenomena” observed in magnetized subjects, who read the thoughts of the magnetists and carried out the unspoken instructions.

Soon other psychologists and psychiatrists were observing the same phenomena in their patients. Sigmund Freud noticed it so often that he soon had to address it. He termed it a regressive, primitive faculty that was lost in the course of evolution, but which still had the ability to manifest itself under certain conditions. Psychiatrist Carl G. Jung thought it more important. One of his main interests was dreams.

Telepathy can be induced in the dream state. Electroencephalogram monitoring show that the brain waves of the recipient change to match those of the sender.

Three Rosicrucians founded the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in 1888. They were Samuel L MacGregor Mathers, William Wynn Westcott, and William Robert Woodman. They were members of Societas Rosicruciana in Anglia. All three were also Freemasons. Westcott was also a member of the Theosophical Society.

Mathers had received the Corpus Hermeticum from the Fraternity of the Asiatic Brethren. 7

Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn is another Brothers of Light group. Gnosticism was renamed Hermeticism and that was the core beliefs that came to be called Rosicrucians.  Thus Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn has gnostic ideas as a large part of its beliefs.

Kenneth MacKenzie was another member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
MacKenzie had been initiated into the Order L’Aurore Naissante. It was members of L’Aurore Naissante who formed the Independent Order B’nai B’rith in New York City.

MacKenzie taught the magic of Eliphas Levi to the other members of Golden Dawn.
It had a deep impact on the magic of the Golden Dawn, which also practiced Kabalah.

Theurgy is the use of magic to evoke “good spirits”, such as angels, gods and goddesses.
The purpose of the Golden Dawn was to evoke angels, archangels, gods, and goddesses, as well as elemental spirits, in order to test, purify, and exalt the individual’s spiritual nature so as to unify it with the “Higher Genius.” From thence the members would be brought into the light of a new dawn.

—–

1887/88 – Henri Bergson is a member of the Society for Psychical Research.

Bergson offered an interpretation of consciousness as existing on two levels. He received the Nobel Prize for his psychologically-based concepts of human perception. 7

SPR has a committee to research records and archives.

Henri Bergson had a sister named Mina Bergson. Mina was a member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, and they conducted research into old records and books - to provide further spiritual data to SPR. Max Muller had completed his translations of Hindu Vedic manuscripts by this time, so that information was available to the SPR.

Mina Bergson spends her time hanging out with friends at the British Museum dabbling in Egyptology and mystical books. In other words, they are researching… for SPR.

Her friends and fellow researchers are MacGregor Mathers, Arthur Edward Waite, Florence Farr, William Butler Yeats, Annie Horniman, and Arthur Machen. Most are members of Golden Dawn and all of them are connected to it. 9
While engaging herself in the famous reading room, it was there she first met MacGregor Mathers. Mathers publishes a translation of Rosenroth’s Kabbalah Unveiled. 10

LRH book The Phoenix Lectures -

“…there is a set of hymns which as I recall were introduced into the societies of earth in about 8212 BC.These were religious hymns and they are our earliest debt in Scientology. Our earliest debt, because the very early hymns contain much that we know today and which checks against what we have rediscovered,or what we have followed back to, and this material included such a common thing as the cycle of the physical universe, known to you in Scientology as the Cycle of Action.

I can tell you that today these hymns are still in existence. They are very hard to acquire in the western world. You have to find the specialized translations of them…

And we find Scientology’s earliest certainly known ancestor in the Veda. It is a religion.  And so, we can look back across a certain span of time, …through this oldest record…
to what we, in Scientology, are rightly indebted.

For to say that out of whole cloth and with no background, a Westerner such as myself should suddenly develop all you need to know to do the things they were trying to do, is an incredible and an unbelievable and an untrue statement.

The Veda… is best read in a literal translation from the Sanskrit. A great deal of our material in Scientology is discovered right back there.”

The Hope of Man, an LRH lecture 3 June 1955 -

“This Congress is given here to signalize an accomplishment of material studied over a long, long period of time, over a quarter of a century… this Congress is here to honor the great spiritual leaders of the past …  Dharma… Buddha… Moses… Christ…

Don’t think for a moment that when I put together Dianetics I was not completely aware of practically everything any one of these men said… If I had not had that information we would never have had Dianetics. “

Note -
Here we have Ron Hubbard admitting that Scientology was formulated out of past religious materials, including the Hindu Veda religious materials.

The Society for Psychical Research was gathering up and studying all this religious material. Sigmund Freud was a member of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith (IOBB) and the Society for Psychical Research.

Commander Thompson was in the U.S. Navy, he was a friend of Ron Hubbard’s father. Commander Thompson studied directly under Sigmind Freud. Thompson then became the mentor of L. Ron Hubbard, teaching him about the mind and spirit. Thus we can see where Ron Hubbard got access to materials such as the Hindu Veda, etc.

—–

Cecil Rhodes created the Round Table in 1891. Its goal is a world government and the major slavemasters, such as the Rothschilds, are members. Arthur Balfour was a member.

Arthur Balfour was also a president of the Society for Psychical Research.

Thus we see that the Society for Psychical Research in England and America are an arm of the slavemasters. And, members of Brothers of Light groups were heavily involved.

The monthly magazine of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith is called The Menorah.
May 1896 Menorah -
Article titled: Recording Unuttered Thoughts by Professor Henry A. Mott

“An article appeared quite recently in a New York Paper (The Journal, March 29th, 1896) relative to an alleged discovery of a machine which could record unuttered thoughts upon a cylinder. It is also claimed by the inventor, Julius Emmer of Washington, that the cylinder can be made to communicate such recorded thoughts directly by means of conductors to another brain so that the subject would become conscious of the unuttered thoughts so recorded.

It is well known that muscular force can be converted into heat, heat into magnetism, magentism into electricity, electricity into light, light into heat, and so on, and the question naturally arose as to whether thought-force could be converted into some other form of force manifestation.

This problem was answered by an experiment conducted by Dr. J.S. Lombard in the year 1867. [New York Medical Journal, Vol. V., 198, June 1867] Experiment demonstrated that any change of temperature within the skull was soonest manifested externally in that depression which exists just above the occipital protuberance. Here Lombard fastened to the head at this point two little bars…which were connected with a delicate galvonometer capable of measuring 1-4000th of a degree centigrade… A second pair of bars… was attached to the leg or arm, so that if a like increase of heat came to both, the electricity developed by one would be neutralized by the other, and no effect would be produced by the needle unless only one was affected. By long practice it was ascertained that a mental torpor could be induced… lasting for hours, in which the needle remained stationary.

My note: definition of Torpor

  • a state of motor and mental inactivity with a partial suspension of sensibility
  • listlessness: inactivity resulting from lethargy and lack of vigor or energy

But when a person knocked on the door outside of the room, or a single word was spoken, even though the experimenter remained absolutely passive, the reception of the intelligence caused the needle to swing through twenty degrees.

Prof. Julius Emmer who claims to be able to record the unuttered thoughts may not be groping in the dark – for if thought-force is transmitted by the undulations of a medium, such undulations possessing energy should be capable of recording themselves in a sufficiently sensitive instrument designed for the purpose.

Claims have been made from age to age, that some people are gifted with the power of reading the thoughts of others; assuming this to be true, then of necessity there must emanate from the thinker some undulations of a medium which acting on the brain of the experimenter reproduces the thought – all this, however, is assumption, still is rational if thought-reading or mind-reading (as it is called) is to be accepted as a fact. “

Note -
This 1896 article in the Menorah is revealing. First, it shows IOBB interest in mental and spiritual phenomena. Second, it shows the Brothers of Light knew in 1896 that there is no such thing as unconsciousness, an “unconscious” person was still aware of events taking place. Ron Hubbard claimed it was his discovery that a person was still aware during moments of “unconsciousness”, but that discovery was made in 1896, before Hubbard was born.

1897 – Florence Farr initiates Aleister Crowley into Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn.
Crowley was impressed by the magic of Golden Dawn. He practiced ritual magic and worshipped Lucifer. He later founded a commune wherein his followers practiced daily adorations to the Sun. Crowley was also a member of Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO).
1897 – Freud joins the IOBB chapter in Vienna. The IOBB was working on ways for “elevating the mental and moral character of the people of our faith”. It was also looking for ways to carry out its social engineering projects – mental therapy is one method of social engineering. And, understanding how the mind works is necessary to mind control.

Dennis B. Klein is a director in the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith. He wrote:
Jewish origins of the psychoanalytic movement by Dennis B. Klein -

Oahspe, a new Bible in the words of Jehovih and his angel embassadors, by John Ballou Newbrough – 1899

This is a Brothers of Light book. It says that hundreds of spirits attach themselves to the same human body. Some go around in a group, following a leader. They are demons and they inflict pain and misfortune on the human being they attach themselves to. They are evil and live in darkness. They can drag the soul or spirit of the body down into darkness with them. They cause trouble when they attach themselves to a human being. People are advised to not consult with these evil demons, instead they should consult the light of god that exists within themselves.

Excerpts from Book of Lika, son of Jehovih:

Such angels as engraft themselves on mortals, becoming as a twin spirit to the one corporeal body, shall be known as re-incarnated spirits. But where such spirits usurp the corporeal body, as of an infant, growing up in the corporeal body, and holding the native spirit in abeyance, such spirits shall be known as damons (demons).

Spirits who inhabit mortals in order to live on the substance mortals eat and drink, and oft absorbing the strength and life of mortals, shall be known as uzians (vampires).

All the foregoing… shall be called drujas.

Now, behold, there were millions of angels in those days who knew no other life, but to continue engrafting themselves on mortals. And, when one mortal died, they went and engrafted themselves on another.

Such spirits as come to mortals purposely to inflict them with pain or misfortune shall be called evil spirits. And when they go in groups, having a leader, that leader shall be called beelzebub, that is, captain of evil (prince of devils).

And they inhabit mortals and the houses that mortals dwell in. Some mortals have one or two of them; some a score; and some have hundreds of them.

If the mortal can not control his habit for intoxication, or gluttony, or avarice, or debauchery, or laziness, or lying, or hypocrisy, preaching what he practiceth not, or sexual indulgence, or vengeance, or anger, or tattling mischievously, then is he, indeed, a victim in the hands of drujas, and at the time of his death, he becometh one with them.

I send wise angels down to them to deliver them out of darkness. And they come and bear the drujas away from thee, for thine own good and theirs.(Scientology OT levels)

For a thousand years or so, the Brothers of Light have been talking about the numerous “inferior evil demons” that attach themselves to any given human body. They sought to drive these demons from the body, making it possible for the “superior good spirits” to unite with god. That is exactly what is done on the secret Scientology OT levels. After driving off the demons, the final and highest level (OT 8) is for you to unite with god.

Brothers of Light religion culminated in the Scientology upper levels (the OT levels).

Anatomy of the Theta Body, an LRH lecture 16 April 1952 -

“We’re looking at theta bodies in their essence. I want to drive this home very thoroughly, is there’s nothing strange about a theta body. You walk with them, you talk with them, you are them. Because a human being… is a composite of these bodies.

…are there such things as demons, idle spirits, devils, any one of those things, or are they just psychotics, or what? The psychotic theta body is what we call demons

… let’s call them entities. They are actually – have been gathered up in groups.

And it actually can get down to a point where the composite you… can actually be influenced by thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of theta lines which you have picked up…

If you have a psychotic entity on your hands, your problem is is a very simple problem all of a sudden. Now, you have to audit this entity, usually, through the preclear, or you can audit this entity direct. Now, here you have, then, a simple problem of finding out where he is stuck in the track, and in what kind of an incident he’s stuck. First, what entity is stuck, when he is stuck, and run it out…

And one after another, you spot and straighten up these entities.”

1909 – Sigmund Freud, member of the IOBB, and his Swiss disciple, Carl Jung

visit the U.S. and lecture on psychoanalysis at Clark University. Austrian-born psychoanalyst Abraham Arden Brill introduces Freudian psychoanalysis to the English-speaking world with his translation of Freud’s “Studies in Hysteria.” He translated most of Freud’s other work, and founded the New York Psychoanalytical Society in 1911. 11

In 1911, Sigmund Freud joined the Society for Psychical Research, and five years later became a member of the American Society for Psychical Research.

1911 – L. Ron Hubbard was born. The Brothers of Light had been researching mental and spiritual phenomena before Hubbard is born, and they had already formulated the major ideas that were used in Dianetics and Scientology. That includes the therapy used.

Lafayette Ronald Hubbard was born March 13, 1911. He is the son of United States naval commander Harry Ross Hubbard and Ledora May Hubbard. A friend of Ron’s father was US Navy Commander Joseph “Snake” Thompson.

World War I was from 1914 to 1918.

Arthur J. Balfour was the British Prime Minister who was a member of the Round Table, which is a slavemaster group working for a One World government, run by them. The Brothers of Light international bankers control the Round Table. Balfour was also a president of the Society for Psychical Research.

The Zionists are Jews who wanted to make Palestine their homeland. The Zionists made a deal with Arthur Balfour, if Balfour helped the Zionists get Palestine as a homeland, then the Zionists would get the Americans into World War I.

1917 – Great Britain, after wresting control of Palestine from the Ottoman Empire, issues the Balfour Declaration, stating its support for the establishment of a national homeland for Jews in Palestine. Arthur Balfour was Britain’s foreign secretary, he had made a deal with the Zionists, if they got America into the war, Britian would support Zionism.

The IOBB in New York City stated its support of Zionism, as did US President Woodrow Wilson. President Wilson got America into World War I. The Jews were eventually given Palestine as their homeland, it is now the country called Israel. The Americans who died in World War I were not told that they were in the war just to help the Brothers of Light.

Thomas Edison was originally a co-owner of the Edison Electric Company until it was taken over completely by J.P. Morgan. Edison was then under Morgan’s thumb. Morgan was an American banker who was an agent for the Rothschilds.

Morgan removed him from company management and put him to work as an electrical researcher. Edison was a member of the Society for Psychical Research, so he was also involved in conducting slavemaster research into psychic phenomena.

Thomas Edison was the promoter of the “Life Units” idea. It was used in Scientology.

Edison submitted to an interview in The Columbian magazine, January 1911 -

A man is not an individual; he is a vast collection of a myriad of individuals, just as a city is. The cell, minute and little known, is the real and only individual. A man is made of many million cells. His intelligence consists of the combined intelligence of them all…

There are two worlds, the world of matter and the world of mind. There is every indication that there is a mental law – a law which we may well discover to be based upon the fundamental principles laid down by the great teachers Christ, Confucius, Buddha. “

Note -

In 1916, Thieneman, a German Jewish scientist, called these entities Lebenseinheiten(life unit). Following that, Edison used the term life unit to describe the myriad of entities inhabiting a human body.

Many people were killed in World War I, and grieving family members took an interest in being able to communicate with the dead. In October of 1920, an article appeared in Scientific American magazine stating that Thomas Edison was working on a machine to communicate with the dead.

On October 30, 1920, Thomas Edison submits an article to the Scientific American, in which he is quoted:

“I don’t claim that our personalities pass onto another existence, I don’t claim anything…. But I do claim that it is possible to construct an apparatus which will be so delicate that if there are personalities in another existence who wish to get in touch with us… this apparatus will at least give them a better opportunity.”

Some excerpts from the article:

“In the first place, I cannot conceive of such a thing as a spirit. Imagine something that has no weight, no material form, no mass; in a word, imagine nothing!

I have been thinking for some time of a machine or apparatus which could be operated by personalities which have passed on to another existence or sphere.”

New York Times January 23, 1921 -

Mr. Edison’s “LIFE UNITS”
Hundred Trillion in Human Body May Scatter After Death
Machine to Register Them

Thomas Edison has announced his entrance into a new sphere, that of psychic research.
Life he conceives as a series of “units” motivated by physical and chemical reactions. Memory, or that part of life which goes to make up the complex of emotions, feelings, desires, tendencies and intrinsic peculiarities of the individual, Mr. Edison believes to be our personalities.

These personalities are various groups of units within the larger group that constitutes life.

They either enter into the body of another man or even start work on some other form of life.

…at least one hundred trillion entities go to make up a single man. …

The individuals in the aggregate which we call ‘a man,’ the members of the swarm which …have collected to make that man, are 95 percent Workers and 5 per cent Directors. The workers cannot stop even though something may compel them from their habitat, that which has been ‘the body’ of ‘a man’.  They must go to something else to build, as, for instance, to corn, a tree, grass …always working under the direction of the higher type among them.

In the case of ‘a man,” for example, he may be ‘bad’ or ‘good,’ in accordance with the trend of these dominant individuals or in accordance with the majority quality of the individuals which have gathered, more or less by chance, in the swarm which makes him up. He is ‘good’ if ‘good’ individuals are more numerous in it and dominate, and ‘bad’ if the reverse occurs.

Mr. Edison conceives personality to be virtually nothing more than memory…

Memory is the close kin of personality. Our past, the events and quality of our lives previous to this moment, is carried by each of us with him into the future. This memory as it is applied to the conditions that confront a man each moment is his personality.

The life units which have formed that man do not die. They merely pass out of the unimportant mechanism which they have been inhabiting, which has been called a man and has been mistaken for an individual, and select some other habitat or habitats. “

Well, all of that is exactly what the Brothers of Light have been saying for a long time!

The “life units” idea is an expression of the Brothers of Light idea that many evil demons engraft themselves onto a human body. Lurian Kabala and the Oahspe said that there are
superior and inferior souls, and the inferior ones are demons that sometimes go around in a group which has a leader. Each spirit or soul was created by the light of god, therefore each one is a divine spark. You should not listen to the inferior evil demons, instead you should listen to the light of god within you. Lurian Kabala practice is to free the inferior demons, at which point you and them are able to unite with god.

The Scientology Bridge to Light is dedicated to handling those “inferior evil demons”.
On the lower part of the Bridge, you are running those evil demons through incidents.  On the higher levels you are getting them to leave, then you unite with god. Perfect!
You have been covertly made into one of the Brothers of Light, practicing their beliefs.

The “life unit” idea gets used in Scientology.

Technical Dictionary, definition of theta -
the life force, life energy, divine energy, elan vital, or by any other name, the energy peculiar to life which acts upon material in the physical universe and animates it.

The Whole Answer To The Problems Of The Mind, an LRH lecture 1 January 1961 -

“If you don’t know anything about the life unit, you would know nothing about life.
And a thetan is a life unit. “

.

Dianetics the Modern Science of Mental Health,  Chapter Emotion and Life Force -

“Two thousand years ago the Chinese built a wall which would have been visible from the moon had anybody been up there to look; three thousand years ago he had North Africa green and fertile; ten thousand years ago he was engaged upon some other project; but always he has been shaping things up pretty well to suit man.

There’s an extra quality at work or perhaps just more of it, so much more of it that it looks like a new thing entirely.

…it is stated here as an aspect of life force. Where the individual finds himself ‘possessed of less and less life force,’ he is losing some of the free units somewhere. And the free units of this life force, in a society or an individual, are the extra surge that is needed to tame North Africa, divide an atom or reach the stars.

Now, all this is not any great digression from therapy; it is stated here as an aspect of life force. Where the individual finds himself ‘possessed of less and less life force,’ he is losing some of the free units somewhere. And the free units of this life force, in a society or an individual, are the extra surge that is needed to tame North Africa, divide an atom or reach the stars.

The mechanical theory …is that there are so many units of force per individual. These units may be held in common by a group and may build to higher and higher numbers as “enthusiasm” increases; but for our purposes, we can consider that man, as an individual or a society-both are organisms-has a ready number to hand for use in any given hour or day. He may manufacture these life units as required and he may simply have a given supply: that is beside the point.  What is to the point is that he can be considered, at any hour or day, as just so much alive. Consider this as his dynamic potential
…The manic with 500 units of directed purpose has been cleared. He now has 1,000 units of sentiently directed purpose.

… Hence, discharging these frozen units is a vital and important part of therapy and the condition of the case will improve in direct ratio to the number of these units so discharged.

Consider these life units as free life energy

To free these units is the primary task of therapy…

.

Dianetic Auditing And The Mind, an LRH lecture 28 July 1966 -

And a thetan is a life unit capable of many things as described in the Axioms, but most familiar to one and all as you.

Below is a partial image of the Hubbard Chart included in the book Science of Survival, showing the “Life Units” plotted next to a “tone scale” indicating how well off someone is – Note that the number of “free theta” (or freed life units) decreases as the “tone levels” go to the so-called “bad” tone levels. In 1952 the idea was to “free” them by running them through an incident they were stuck in. By the time of the OT levels in the 1960’s, the idea was to “free” them by sending them away. The more units that are freed – the better off you are, according to Scientology theory.

Lurian Kabala said – It is the individual’s divinely appointed task to not only liberate those sparks that are entrapped…within his own body and soul, but also those sparks in the world that he or she encounters along life’s way. Through proper ethical and spiritual conduct the individual is able to free the holy sparks

L. Ron Hubbard said -  “To free these units is the primary task of therapy…

So, we see that some more data from the Society for Psychical Research, was used to formulate Dianetics and Scientology.

The IOBB Brothers of Light and their Society for Psychical Research, are the hidden men who provided the basic ideas used in creating the subjects of Dianetics and Scientology. Hubbard was the Johnny-come-lately who acted as their front man for dispensing their subjects onto the population.

Thomas Edison was wrong…

Memory does not equal personality. Every Being is unique and their personality, who they are, is inherent. A Being is not his past and his past does not make him who he is.
You are not a memory, a mind, a thought, an idea, or any creation. You are simply you.

A friend of Ron Hubbard’s father was US Navy Commander Joseph “Snake” Thompson.

Commander Thompson was a student of Sigmund Freud in Vienna, Austria. Freud was a member of the Independent Order B’nai B’rith and the Society for Psychical Research.

In 1923, Joseph Thompson became the mentor of Ron Hubbard. Ron was 12 years old.
Hubbard initially learned Freud’s ideas about the mind from Commander Thompson.

Further Introduction to Dianetics, an LRH lecture 23 September 1950 -

“…I had a lot of friends. One such friend was Commander “Snake” Thompson.

He had studied under Sigmund Freud, and he found me a very wide-eyed and wide-eared boy. He had just come from Vienna, and his mouth and mind were full of associative words, libido theories, conversion, and all the rest of it.”
The Story of Dianetics and Scientology, an LRH lecture 18 October 1958 -

“The story actually starts back when I was about twelve years old and I met one of the great men of Freudian analysis – a Commander Thompson. He was a commander in the United States Navy.

Anyway, at the Library of Congress in Washington, DC, where they have all the books on everything, he started shoving my nose into an education in the field of the mind.  Now, that’s a very unusual thing to do, to take a twelve-year-old boy and start doing something with the mind. But he really got me interested in the subject…”

.

An LRH autobiographical note presented in the court case CSI vs Armstrong -

Through his friendship I attended many lectures given at Naval hospitals and generally became conversant with psychoanalysis as it had been exported from Austria by Freud.

.

Church of Scientology biography on L. Ron Hubbard -

Between the years of 1923 and 1928, he had received an extensive education in the field of the human mind from Commander Thompson of the Medical Corps of the US Navy, a friend of his father and a personal student of Sigmund Freud.

.

As a teenage boy Ron Hubbard accompanied his mother to the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. He found a book there that interested him, it was The Book of the Law by Aleister Crowley. The whole of the law was – Do what thou wilt.

So, as a teenager, Ron Hubbard is connected to Brothers of Light people and their ideas via Commander Thompson. He becomes further connected to Brothers of Light people when he studies and accepts the ideas of Crowley, a member of the Golden Dawn group.

Freud, his daughter Anna Freud, and Sandor Ferenczi took part in apparently convincing experiments in thought transference. Freud sent out a circular stating how impressed he was with certain telepathic experiments published by the Society for Psychical Research.  On 15 March 1925, Freud admitted his complete “conversion” to belief in telepathy. 17

Robert Collier was the author of self-help books. One book was The Secret of The Ages. It was published in 1926 and was widely read, selling 300,000 copies.
This book contains some of the significant ideas found in Dianetics and Scientology.
L. Ron Hubbard claims he discovered the dynamic principle of existence – survive.

He did not discover that, that idea was stated in The Secret of the Ages.

Some quotes from The Secret of The Ages by Robert Collier -

This is the greatest discovery of modern times—that every man can call upon this “Life Principle” at will …that he has but to understand it and work in harmony with it to get from it anything he may need—health or happiness, riches or success.

The Purpose of Existence

No one can follow it down through the ages without realizing that the whole purpose of existence is GROWTH. Life is dynamic—not static. It is ever moving forward—not standing still.

The “Life Principle” is your principle. To survive, to win through, to triumphantly surmount all obstacles has been its everyday practice since the beginning of time. You have but to supply the urge, to work in harmony with it, to get from it anything you may need.
…the power that, in moments of great stress or excitement, you unconsciously call upon to do the deeds which you ever after look upon as superhuman.

But they are in no wise superhuman. They are merely beyond the capacity of your conscious self. Ally your conscious self with that sleeping giant within you, rouse him daily to the task, and those “superhuman” deeds will become your ordinary, everyday accomplishments.

…I know that there is such a power, for I once saw two boys lift a great log off their brother, who had been caught under it. The next day, the same two boys, with another man and myself, tried to lift the end of the log, but could not even budge it.

Your body is for all practical purposes merely a machine which the mind uses. This mind is usually thought of as consciousness; but the conscious part of your mind is in fact the very smallest part of it. Ninety per cent of your mental life is subconscious, so when you make active use of only the conscious part of your mind you are using but a fraction of your real ability; you are running on low gear.

…let us divide your mind into three parts—the conscious mind, the subconscious mind, and the Infinite, Subliminal or Universal Mind.

The Conscious Mind

When you say “I see—I hear—I smell—I touch,” it is your conscious mind that is saying this… It is the phase of mind with which you feel and reason…  It can plan ahead…
The Subconcious Mind

Do you know how much water, how much salt, how much of each different element in your food should be absorbed into your blood each day to maintain perfect health?

No? Neither does any one else. But your subconscious mind knows. And this is but one of thousands of such jobs it performs every hour of the day. It planned and built your body from infancy on up.It repairs it. It operates it. It has almost unlimited power, not merely for putting you and keeping you in perfect health but for acquiring all the good things of life. Ignorance of this power is the sole reason for all the failures in this world.
Dr. George C. Pitzer sums up the power of the subconscious mind very well in the following:

The subconscious mind is a distinct entity. It occupies the whole human body, and, when not opposed in any way, it has absolute control over all the functions, conditions, and sensations of the body. Nutrition, waste, all secretions and excretions, the action of the heart in the circulation of the blood, the lungs in respiration or breathing, and all cell life, cell changes and development, are positively under the complete control of the subconscious mind. This was the only mind animals had before the evolution of the brain; and it could not, nor can it yet, reason inductively, but its power of deductive reasoning is perfect. And more, it can see without the use of physical eyes. It has the power to communicate with others without the aid of ordinary physical means. It never dies. We call this the ‘soul mind.’ It is the living soul.”

The subconscious mind directs all the vital processes of your body.

The Magic Secret

Hold in your mind the thing you most desire. Affirm it. Believe it to be an existing fact.

Remember that yourthought is all-powerful.

The Medicine Delusion
All cure of every disease is spiritual.

It may also be admitted that in over 90% of all human ailments, the psychic is the dominating factor. In other words, Mind is the Healer. Every form of disease or sickness is solely the result of wrong thinking.

The Only Power

He who is looking for wisdom, power, or permanent success, will find it only within. Mind is the only cause. Your body is healthy or sick according to the images of thought you impress upon your subconscious mind. If you will hold thoughts of health instead of sickness, if you will banish all thoughts of disease and decay, you can build up a perfect body.

For all disease starts in mind.

There is nothing organically wrong with the body. It is your mental image that is out of adjustment.Change the one and you cure the other.

In other words, the kind of impressions we receive from the world about us, the sort of mental pictures we form concerning it, in fact, the character of the outer world, the nature of the environment in which our lives are cast—all these things depend for each one of us simply upon how he happens to be put together, upon his individual mental make-up.

Rev. William T. Walsh, in his book “Scientific Spiritual Healing.”

“This mind can receive commands from us and has wonderful ability to carry them out, for it is a law that every thought tends to realize itself subconsciously in the body.

If you allow evil thoughts to remain, they are received by the subconscious which tends to realize them in the body just as much as though they were good, wholesome, health-giving spiritual thoughts. For remember, the subconscious does not reason and judge. It only receives and obeys.”

Affirm the good, the true—and the evil will vanish.”  15

You can recognize some ideas in the above that later appear in Dianetics and Scientology, such as – the dynamic principle of existence is the urge to survive.

Dianetics calls the conscious mind, the analytical mind. It calls the subconscious mind the reactive mind. It is the same ideas as Collier’s book, just using different names. But Collier was not the originator of those ideas, either. Members of the Society for Psychical Research promoted the idea of a conscious mind and a subconscious mind, before him.

In other religions, there is the soul and spirit. In Scientology the soul is called the genetic entity and the spirit is called the thetan. You are said to be the thetan. You are also said to be the analytical mind, and the genetic entity is portrayed as the reactive mind.

The Scientology idea that the reactive mind does not reason, is taken from Collier’s book.

Part of Scientology spin about the reactive mind is that it can only think in identities, that means it cannot think in differences, in other words a house equals a tree, equals a bird, etc. This is another false idea that the Being running the body cannot tell differences. If that were true, the genetic entity could not tell the difference between the different types of cells and all plants and animals would be a single cell life form, since it would always conceive that all cells are the same. The genetic entity, just like every other Being, can see and think in differences.

The idea that all illness is mentally caused, also comes from Collier’s book.

Ron Hubbard also practiced affirmations, wherein he wrote lists of positive statements about himself and would read them back to himself. That idea is found in Collier’s book.

Note -

When are these guys going to tell it right? They call the Being who runs the body a subconscious or reactive mind. That Being is not a mind, he is a Being – just like you. And it is not true that the Being who runs the body cannot reason.

Ron Hubbard was being educated into Brothers of Light ideas about the mind and spirit when he was 12 years old. His education by these people continued, and by 1930 he was “studying material” that was used in the development of Scientology, as he states in the following tape lectures.

Development of Scientology, an LRH lecture given on 13 December 1952 -

The data which was left in India about 8,200 years ago and which lay dormant, and which was figured out this way and confused that way and was relatively unanalyzed. But it was a tremendously valuable mass of material.

It lay there unevaluated and, of course, was a field of tremendous richness… an awful lot of men have fallen on their faces in the last century trying to hit this track. Amongst them were Nietzsche… Schopenhauer… Aleister Crowley. “

.

The Hope of Man, an LRH lecture 3 June 1955 -

“This Congress is given here to signalize an accomplishment of material studied over a long, long period of time, over a quarter of a century…”

The first thing to point out here is that Ron Hubbard gives us a date when he started studying material – 1930. He also provides some of the names of the people who were studying this same material; Aleister Crowley. Crowley was a member of Golden Dawn, one of the Brothers of Light groups.

1931 and 1932 – Ron Hubbard attends George Washington University. William Alanson White is a professor of neurology and psychiatry at George Washington University and he is also superintendent of Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital. Hubbard was connected to White.
.

Universe: Basic Definitions, an LRH lecture 7 April 1954 -

Commander Thompson had studied with Freud and he was a good friend of mine and he talked to me a great deal about having psychoanalysis. So I went back and reviewed a bunch of the stuff which he’d talked to me about and studied it over again.

Well, I went over to a fellow over at Saint Elizabeth’s, William Allen White. I talked to him for a little while… He’d been a friend of mine before this, by the way, and a very, very nice fellow. And we were having a very informal discussion this way and that, and he was unfortunate enough however to throw me a few tidbits which tended to put me in my place about the field of the human mind, you see. “

Scientology was written in 1932, when Ron Hubbard is connected to some sordid people.
Ron Hubbard was only 21 years old and was fresh out of failing in college.
Introduction To The Eighth Unit, an LRH lecture 4 October 1954 -

“The first science, by the way, 1932, was Scientology, and it was Scientology still in 1938 when it was first really named.”

Now we will take a look at who and what Ron Hubbard was connected into back then.

William Alanson White, American neurologist and psychiatrist, was a professor at George Washington University from 1904. He was also the superintendent of Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, DC.  It is a government-supported mental hospital.

Dr. Ernest L. Bullard, professor of neurology and psychiatry, purchased a hotel in Rockville, Maryland. In 1910, he converted the hotel into a sanitarium. It was named Chestnut Lodge Sanitarium.

Dr. Bullard’s son, Dexter, joined his parents as the hospital’s assistant physician in 1925.

Notable staff at Chestnut Lodge included Frieda Fromme-Reichmann, psychoanalyst, Harry Stack Sullivan, and Clara Thompson. Frieda practiced Lurian Kabala.

Dexter Bullard changed the focus of the hospital to Freudian psychoanalysis. Dr. Frieda Fromm-Reichmann joined the staff in 1935. Dr. Fromm-Reichmann is recognized as one of the leaders in the field of mental health, particularly in the treatment of schizophrenia.

Chestnut Lodge Sanitarium, Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital, Bethesda Naval Hospital and Central Intelligence Agency headquarters – are all within 10 miles of each other. Ron
Hubbard was connected and involved with all of them.

Joseph Thompson was stationed at Saint Elizabeths Hospital, where he first met Clara Thompson in 1918. Clara Thompson received psychoanalysis from Joseph Thompson, then she became staff at Chestnut Lodge. 12

There is interconnection between William Alanson White, Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital, Chestnut Lodge, Commander Thompson, Ron Hubbard and CIA mind control research.
This will be further discussed when we get into what happened in the 1940’s.

In 1932, when Dianetics and Scientology were first formulated, Ron Hubbard had been a student of Joseph Thompson and William Alanson White, and they were teaching him about the mind. Thompson was a student of Sigmund Freud. Freud was a member of the IOBB and the Society for Psychical Research. These people had not only collected data about the mind, they had collected an enormous amount of data about spiritual abilities.
In addition to that, being Brothers of Light people, they knew Lurian Kabala. All of their theories, beliefs and practices show up in the subjects of Dianetics and Scientology. They are the real authors of Dianetics and Scientology, Ron Hubbard was only 21 at the time.
Ron Hubbard was trained in the mental ideas of Breuer and Freud from the age of 12.
Now it was time to educate him into the spiritual information they had been gathering.

His mental and spiritual indoctrination was by the Brothers of Light people and groups.

On 17 August 1934, Dr. Anastasius Nordenholz gets his book published – Scientology Science of the Constitution and Usefulness of Knowledge. Nordenholz was a founding father of Nazi eugenics who had worked closely with Alfred Ploetz as early as 1905.

Alfred Ploetz and Nazi eugenics were funded by the Rockefellers.

November 1938 – Excalibur was written. Excalibur was the forerunner of Scientology. This same year Ron Hubbard begins writing science fiction for various Sci Fi magazines.

Introduction: The Q List and Beginning of Logics, LRH lecture 10 November 1952 -

The Axioms were basically written on a summary of information which, began in November of 1938.  And the basic Axioms of Dianetics were written at that time.
It’s interesting that the material at that time was called Scientology. It appeared in an unpublished manuscript called Excalibur.

.

Universes, an LRH lecture 6 April 1954 -

There’s a book called Excalibur which was written in 1938. That book is about 125 thousand words and is the theoretical top level of philosophic principles which we’re still using. The word survive and the first principle of existence also appear in Excalibur and are run down to a considerable extent.

.

Case Analysis, an LRH lecture 4 August 1958 -

Excalibur is actually devoted to brain mechanisms as well as many of the principles which led to the research line. But it described brain mechanisms, and so forth, and guys read those things and they actually were sitting there just looking at them and they go up the spout. …Excalibur comes under the heading of a dangerous weapon.

.

Introduction To The Eighth Unit, an LRH lecture 4 October 1954 -

The first science, by the way, 1932, was Scientology, and it was Scientology still in 1938 when it was first really named.

.

Ron Hubbard joined the AMORC Rosicrucians in 1940. It is a Brothers of Light group.4

Thelemic Ordo Templi Orientis (OTO) was based on the teachings of Aleister Crowley.
Jack Parsonswas chosen by Crowley to lead an OTO lodge in California. Ron Hubbard joined the group in 1945. In 1946 Hubbard was practicing the magic rituals of the OTO.
Thus Ron Hubbard was even further involved with Brothers of Light people and groups.

—–

Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was established in June 1942 to conduct intelligence activities and clandestine operations in support of military operations. Allen Dulles was in the OSS.  The OSS became the Central Intelligence Agency after WW II. Allen Dulles was the Director of the CIA.

In the late 1940’s the Central Intelligence Agency is using Chestnut Lodge as a place to conduct mind control research. Saint Elizabeth Hospital sends patients to Chestnut Lodge, where they become victims of mind control research. Ron Hubbard was also sent patients from Chestnut Lodge for mind control research. Hubbard was also involved with the staff at Chestnut Lodge and Saint Elizabeth Hospital.

The CIA was formed in 1947. Mind control research was underway that was not yet officially authorized.

Late 1940’s -       A C.I.A.Memo (written in June 1951) says:

“C.I.A. interest is in the specific subject of devising scientific methods for controlling the minds of individuals.” And so, in the late 1940′s some essentially uncontrolled experimentation was begun by various people within the C.I.A. “

.

This led to a more structured programme that had the name Blue Bird, later named Artichoke, MKULTRA, and finally named MKSEARCH. Under Projects Blue Bird and Artichoke the attempt was made to bring together all known knowledge of interrogation techniques, truth serums, polygraphs, and hypnosis – to create an elite interrogation team with facility in all of those endeavours, and have them do the work that would be needed, first of all to protect against infiltration by enemy agents, and also to protect the minds of American agents who might get captured by Communist individuals.
Chestnut Lodge, was an institution that had CIA-cleared psychiatrists on its staff. 13

Interviews with Gottlieb in 1999 and declassified documents reveal that one of the substances considered for use against Fidel Castro was a new convulsive compound which produced a condition similar to electroshock. Called Indoklon, its odorless vapors produce immediate convulsions accompanied by arching of the back, stiffening of the neck and unconsciousness. Human testing with the compound had been conducted at Spring Grove State Hospital, Baltimore, and at Chestnut Lodge in Rockville, Md. 14

Hubbard spoke about Chestnut Lodge in lectures, although he called it Walnut Lodge.
The Logics, Methods of Thinking, an LRH lecture 4 December 1952 -

“…there’s a place by the name of Walnut Lodge. They don’t see anything humorous in that, by the way; it’s Walnut Lodge. And that’s a spinbin down the line here. They sent three people to see me and every one of them was under treatment. And this was their staff. But anyway, very good people there, I’m sure, didn’t happen to meet any. Have some fine patients though. Anyway, they treat only schizophrenia.

And they take somebody who is a dementia praecox unclassified or a more modern definition, a mania-depressive and they take him from Saint Elizabeth’s and they take him over to Walnut Lodge and he goes onto the books as a schizophrenic.”

.

The Itsa Line, an LRH lecture 20 August 1963 -

“They’ve gotten so idiotic with it now that if somebody goes to that Chestnut Lodge…
I’ve told you about it before. That’s actually the name of the joint… But if a person is transferred to Chestnut Lodge, regardless of their symptoms before, they now have schizophrenia.”

.

Future Org Trends, an LRH lecture 9 October 1962 -

“The last fun I ever got out of mass hypnotism was hypnotizing the staff of Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington.”

.

Dianetics, Scientology And Society, an LRH lecture  4 August 1966  -

“It happens at Saint Elizabeth all the time, Washington. Now, institutionally, I’ve gone into jails and gone into institutions and looked at people. I’ve had lots of discussions with doctors on their patients and so on.”

.

On 20 April 1950 the CIA’s mind control program Project Bluebird was then officially authorized. CIA-contracted psychiatrists began secret experiments using electroshock, ice-pick lobotomies, cocaine, heroin, LSD and pain-drugs-hypnosis.

The CIA’s Project Artichoke was attempting to create a mind-controlled killer, who could be programmed to carry out assassinations. The methods used for doing the programming included PDH methods (pain-drugs-hypnosis) including electroshock.
How We Have Addressed the Problem of the Mind, an LRH lecture 4 July 1957 -

“…the incorporation papers of the HDRF [Hubbard Dianetics Research Foundation] were filed in 1950…

…this officer from the Office of Naval Research, came to see me right here in Washington and he wanted me to go on as a civilian employee in order to use what I knew of the mind to make men more suggestible. And I said, “No.” …he said to me, “Well, all you have to do is say ‘No’ and I will call you back to active duty because you still are an officer of the United States Navy.”

So I went down here to the Washington Navy Yard, the Potomac River Naval Command, and I got my resignation accepted. And I went back up to Elizabeth, New Jersey and the HDRF, the first research foundation, was formed, and we went happily on our way just throwing it all over the place.”

.

A Postulate Out Of A Golden Age, an LRH lecture 6 December 1956 -

“They said, “You know you’re still in the reserves and we can call you back to active duty on research in the field of the mind.”

I said, “Well, if you put it that way,” I said, “There’s nothing much I can do.”

But I was down to the Potomac River Naval Command, and I was through Bureau of Naval Personnel. …he said, “you’ve decided to come into the service as a civilian?”

And I said, “No, I haven’t. I decided not to.” …and handed him my resignation, accepted.

But do you know that immediately predated, by one week, the opening of the Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation of Elizabeth, New Jersey?

All they wanted to do was get a piece of research done which they in their tyrannical fashion had decided was far more important than any other research that could be done.  They wanted me to work on a project to make men more suggestible. “

Note -
He didn’t refuse to work for the CIA mind control program, look at what follows here…

1 June 1950 – Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation is incorporated.

In his lectures L. Ron Hubbard talks about him using drugs and hypnotism in his research into the mind. In the lecture Case Factors 15 June 1950, he says he has used nitrous oxide, phenobarbital, and Benzedrine. In the lecture Institutional Cases 23 June 1950        he talks about administering sodium amytal, sodium pentothal, and many other drugs.

In his book, Science of Survival (1951), L. Ron Hubbard exposes the technique of pain-drug-hypnosis. “This form of hypnotism has been a carefully guarded secret of certain military and intelligence organizations. It is a vicious war weapon and may be of more use in conquering a society than the atom bomb. Pain-drug-hypnosis is a wicked extension of narco-synthesis, the drug hypnosis used in America only during and since the last war. But pain-drug-hypnosis, due mainly to the intent of the operator, is a much more vicious procedure. The Foundation undertook some tests with regard to the effectiveness of pain-drug-hypnosis and found it so appallingly destructive to the personality… Pain-drug-hypnosis is so effectively destructive that the Foundation hasceased experimentation along this line, having already learned enough and refusing to endanger the sanity of individuals. “
In 1951 the Los Angeles Foundation cooperated with two university researchers, who knocked out a volunteer with sodium pentathol, and read him a passage from a physics textbook while inflicting pain. In six months of auditing the volunteer failed to remember any of the passage. In Science of Survival Ron Hubbard dismissed the matter –
“Psychotherapists with whom the foundation has dealt have been eager to plant an engram in a patient and have the Foundation recover it. The Foundation will accept no more experiments in this line. ” 14
So, the Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation did pain-drug-hypnosis experiments – which is exactly what the CIA mind control programme wanted research on back then.

Note -
The CIA and military used civilians to do discreditable research, which gives the government deniability for atrocious actions taken by these researchers. I believe the actual reason for Ron Hubbard resigning the Navy was the government did not want him doing mind research in an official capacity, they wanted him to be a civilian to put some distance between him and the official government. He did exactly what they wanted – he resigned the Navy, became a civilian, then immediately established the Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation, which then does research into pain-drug-hypnosis.

LRH Definition Notes -

Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation was the first organization of Dianetics. This organization was first put together by myself in Elizabeth, New Jersey in May 1950.

The Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation has two appendant groups. One is a civil defense group. The other is the Freudian Foundation of America. It is the only authorized agency of any kind in the United States authorized to use the name and works of Sigmund Freud. All other Freudian Foundations have no charter or franchise from the old Master. But we have one from the Freudian Institute of Vienna, which makes us the only legal Freudian Foundation. This organization knows that as a sequence to the great work of Sigmund Freud, Dianetics is the solution to psychoanalysis and it freely says so. So we have the Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation being ably supported by the Freudian Foundation of America and by the American Society of Civilian Defense.

.

So now we can state what was going on so far. Commander Thompson had studied directly under Sigmund Freud, a member of the IOBB, the New World Order people.

Commander Thompson associated with Clara Thompson at Chestnut Lodge sanitarium and William Allen White at Saint Elizabeth Hospital, a government mental institution.

Commander Thompson was the mentor of Ron Hubbard, since Ron was 12 years old.

Ron Hubbard attended George Washington University, where William Allen White was a professor in psychiatry. William Allen White also taught Ron Hubbard about the mind.
Chestnut Lodge was doing mind control research for the CIA. The CIA was employing private psychiatrists and institutions to do mind control research. Patients at mental institutions were used as guinea pigs.
Mental patients at Saint Elizabeth, a government mental institution, were sent to Chestnut Lodge, a private mental institution – where CIA approved psychiatrists received them. These would then become used for mind control experiments.

Ron Hubbard was involved with Saint Elizabeth Hospital and Chestnut Lodge. Hubbard hypnotized the Saint Elizabeth staff. Patients at Chestnut Lodge were sent to Hubbard. Ron Hubbard also spent time at both of these institutions, having discussions with staff.

Then Hubbard was asked to resign the Navy and perform mind control research as a civilian. He says he declined, but his actions tell the real story. He did exactly what they asked – he resigned the Navy, and as a civilian he immediately opened the Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation and carried out research into pain-drug-hypnosis – which is exactly what the CIA wanted research on. (Scientology cooperation with the CIA does not end here, that subject will be addressed later in this book.)

Ron also researched the remedy for PDH, which is also research the CIA wanted done.

Hubbard and his associates in the mental field also carried out various drug experiments on mental patients, as shown in Hubbard’s lectures about institutional Dianetics.

The Hubbard Dianetic Research Foundation and the subject of Dianetics became the arm for forwarding Freudian mental treatment. That is exactly what it is, Dr. Breuer’s therapy that he taught to Freud, who taught Commander Thompson, who taught it to Hubbard.
.

Dr. Breuer’s Therapy Gets Named Dianetics

.

Psychiatrist Josef Breuer was the mentor of Sigmund Freud. In 1880 Breuer cured a mental patient by having the patient remember and experience past forgotten traumas.
Breuer called this discovered technique – catharsis, from the Greek word for cleansing.
It was also called talking therapy.

Dianetics and Scientology further developed Breuer’s catharsis technique. It did that.
But the fundamental therapy technique was discovered by Breuer, not Ron Hubbard.

Therapists used Breuer’s therapy to help soldiers handle painful incidents after World War I and World War II. It was understood by Freud and others that recall of a traumatic incident without the release of emotion was almost useless. It was necessary to express in speech and action the emotions related to it.

Dr. Nandor Fodor authored a book in 1949 – The Search for the Beloved – a clinical investigation of the trauma of birth and pre-natal conditioning. Fodor believed that the trauma of birth and the prenatal period are locked up in the depths of the unconscious mind. Fodor pointed out that unless the patient re-lives the original event, he cannot become free. Fodor encouraged his patients to re-live birth.

Ron Hubbard said that the “reactive mind” records “mental image pictures”. That idea is also found in Fodor’s 1949 book. Since 1880 people had been using Dr. Breuer’s therapy.

In May 1950 Ron Hubbard authored Dianetics: the Modern Science of Mental Health. The dust sleeve of the first edition advertised Fodor’s book.

In Scientology 0-8, Ron Hubbard states:

“Man had no inkling whatever of Dianetics. None. This was the bolt from the blue.”

.

Here is more disinformation from Ron Hubbard, he is attempting to take credit for discoveries that were made by Breuer. And therapists had been using it for 70 years before Dianetics was written.

Dianetics and Scientology was formed out of Brothers of Light mental and spiritual ideas.

Ron Hubbard was their front man, promoting the IOBB religious and political agendas.
