The Road To Truth – Or Is It Propaganda?

One often sees in various books and websites extant at this time, various references to the “hidden government” and so on. The problem is, not ONE of these that I have perused (and I have perused hundreds) ever really pin the tail on the donkey where it goes. Instead they seem to pin it every where else other than the exact place it should be.

It’s either “The Rothschilds” or it’s “The Illuminati”, or “the Council on Foreign Relations” or even “shape-shifting alien Reptilians” as well as many other not-quite-right images of what really happened and is happening. An image can be manipulated, but there is only one truth of what happened at any given time.

Now if any of these sources ever mention an actual Intelligence Operation, it is pretty generalized. Which I could understand the use of shortened forms of discussing it, if there was any evidence of these sources ever getting around to really naming names and connecting up organizations with something other than rhetoric. They don’t, and even if there is a name or two it doesn’t really give you the full magnitude of the situation. Ever.

Well that’s something we shall have to remedy, isn’t it.

On that note…

Introducing Cliff Notes

The Cliff Notes (shorter and time ordered) versions are companion pieces to the Alternate History of Dianetics series.

The Cliff Notes form is basically a guide, or fast overview but they are also intended for use as both stand-alone and companion pieces to this series.

Cliff Notes versions do not contain many of the images nor the full information found in the parent articles. To see the full information of a particular entry, see the original article linked to by a number.

In this particular Cliff Notes today, two of the Alternate History of Dianetics articles are being used.

  1. Roaring 40’s – Charles Lindbergh
  2. Calling All Liars – Beginnings of The OSS

The entries will have (1) or (2) listed by them, that will link to the corresponding articles.

Read the original articles (blog posts) for much fuller information including images and reference listings.

Let’s begin.

Edward L. Bernays, who some have referred to as the Father of Spin, worked closely with British Intelligence – and it’s bastard child the OSS/CIA -  for all of his life.

To illustrate just how tight this connection was, I have assembled some quotes from Lord Northcliffe, head of the Department of Enemy Propaganda (MI6) in World War I, and from Bernays.

Edward Bernays followed his mentor, British MI6 man Lord Northcliffe, regarding propaganda.

Lord NorthCliffe Edward L. Bernays
Propaganda, he wrote, should be “the pace-maker for policy, and should form opinion without opinion realizing that it is so being formed. This was the first and principal maxim of the principle of “government by the consent of the governed”. – 1918 The engineering of consent is the very essence of the democratic process, the freedom to persuade and suggest. – 1947
Propaganda, he wrote, should be “the pace-maker for policy, and should form opinion without opinion realizing that it is so being formed. This was the first and principal maxim of the principle of “government by the consent of the governed”. – 1918 If we understand the mechanism and motives of the group mind, is it not possible to control and regiment the masses according to our will without their knowing it?The recent practice [World War I] of propaganda has proved that it is possible, at least up to a certain point and within certain limits. – 1928THE conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organized habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible governmentwhich is the true ruling power of our country. – 1928”It was, of course, the astounding success of propaganda during the war that opened the eyes of the intelligent few in all departments of life to the possibilities of regimenting the public mind,” – 1928
Just after the American CPI’s activities were severely curtailed, a conference was held in August of 1918to coordinate the propaganda efforts and a new “Inter-Allied” body was formed to do Enemy propaganda.Lord Northcliffe’s Committee came to the conclusion that a policy of peace propaganda should be quickly formulated for use not only in enemy countries but also to explain to Allies and neutrals the general principles underlying British peace aims. This Committee met for the first time on October 4, 1918with MI6 man Sir Campbell Stuart taking the chair in the absence, through illness, of Lord Northcliffe. At this and subsequent meetings a memorandum embodying the basic principles of a just and lasting peace was discussed and agreed upon as a policy for common use. Soon afterwards the armistices were signed and the Policy Committee was dissolved. “It was only natural, after the war ended, that intelligent persons should ask themselves whether it was not possible to apply a similar technique to the problems of peace.” – 1928

You can see that this view of the engineering of the “consent” of the people to then be called “the democratic process” (which it is NOT), carried right into documents of the OSS.

Creswell to Bruce, December 14, 1942 CIA Declassified document.

Propaganda may be defined as the attempt to control public opinion. It had four objectives—the control of :

(a) Home opinion

(b) Neutral opinion.

(c) Allied opinion.

(d) Enemy opinion.

This next excerpt is a VERY KEY POINT in what could be called the War for the Minds of Men.

“The presentation of isolated facts, the influencing of opinion on particular matters, were alike of little avail unless there was an underlying foundation of sympathy on the part of the people thus to be influenced. Such a foundation in its turn could only be built up by a consistent propaganda policy. The, lack of realization of this basic principle was the chief reason for the failure of much early British propaganda work…”

Edward L. Bernays also mentioned this principle in 1923:

Chapter VII – The Application Of These Principles

“…the cause he represents must have some group reaction and tradition in common with the public he is trying to reach.”

.

A Consistent Propaganda Policy

.

Let’s see some examples of this consistency by our “invisible government” – as Edward L. Bernays called it.

Lord Northcliffe and his junior H.G. Wells Charles Lindbergh
League of Nations – Wells memorandum- Its control of raw materials, of shipping, and its power to exclude for an indefinite period enemy or even neutral peoples until they subscribe to and give pledges of their acceptance of its principles should be emphasized. -Northcliffe to the British Foreign Secretary (MI6) May 1918 I believe that we should adopt as our program of American neutrality – as our contribution to western civilization – the following policy:

  1. An embargo on offensive weapons and munitions.
  2. The unrestricted sale of purely defensive armaments.
  3. The prohibition of American shipping from the belligerent countries of Europe and their danger zones.
  4. The refusal of credit to belligerent nations or their agents. – October 13 1939

21 years and it’s still the same basic idea as Northcliffe and Wells promoted – that’s pretty consistent!

Point #4 in Lindbergh’s speech shows very clearly that the banks and bankers are under control by these people like Northcliffe and who he really reports to – not the other way around as most conspiracy-writers would have you believe.

In light of that, take a look at this:

“Now, you hear of the Rothschilds in the world of finance. They are not the originators of the control over finance and the practices therein. But they have been given a franchise to control the money aspect of the people of the world. In return for their exercising this control and keeping their mouth shut they are given handsome privileges of money manipulation.” – Norman Dodd

Norman Dodd was Research Director of the 1950’s Reese Commission (United States) investigating tax-exempt companies and foundations. The papers and reports of Dodd can be found in the book The Tax-Exempt Foundations by Bill McLLhaney.

Are there any consistencies going even further back?

Why yes, there are.

MONARCHY pretending to be DEMOCRACY, in order to have Britain and America rule the world.

Cecil Rhodes in 1876

“Why should we not form a secret society with but one object, the furtherance of the British Empire and the bringing of the whole world under British rule, for the recovery of the United States, for making the Anglo Saxon race but one Empire? What a dream, but yet it is probable, it is possible.”

His public propaganda about his goals were that he:

  • sought to diminish nationalism
  • increase awareness among people that they belonged to the larger human community.

As you can see, the real goal was making the peoples of the world into subjects of a Monarchy – A British Monarchy.

With that goal in mind, he created the Round Table in 1891.

Let’s look at a table that is showing some of the actual people that are promoting this agenda to rule the world, both British and American.

BRITISH AMERICAN
Cecil Rhodes in 1876“Why should we not form a secret society with but one object, the furtherance of the British Empire and the bringing of the whole world under British rule, for the recovery of the United States, for making the Anglo Saxon race but one Empire? President Roosevelt – December 29 1940

Make America an ‘Arsenal of Democracy

President Roosevelt first used the term “Arsenal of Democracy” on December 29, 1940 in a radio broadcast to the American people. He explained the importance of supplying the people of Europe, at the time primarily Britain with the “implements of war”. He said that the United States “must be the great arsenal of democracy”.

L. Ron Hubbard – May 1959League of Nations goals (then called the United Nations)Perfect consistency of the Cecil Rhodes Round Table propaganda of “scary weapons and wars” is whythere needs to be “no nationalism” in the form of “boundaries.“Now, a wonderful piece of news burst today as we complete this course, wonderful piece of news. The byproducts of atomic energy plants which make electricity have been declared waste previous to this time, and now a clever nuclear physicist has found out how to make bombs out of the waste products from electrical energy.…almost any nation- Panama, the Argentine, almost anybody- could dream himself up a few atom bombs.Well, that’s very, very happy.  Because about this time somebody’s going to have to get some good sense and say, ‘We’d better knock off this thing called international boundaries because it’s not safe to have them anymore’.
Continuing with comparison of Cecil Rhodes, Northcliffe, and H.G. Wells…Cecil Rhodes in 1876“Why should we not form a secret society with but one object, the furtherance of the British Empire and the bringing of the whole world under British rule….”

League of Nations

Lord Northcliffe and his junior H.G. Wells – May 1918

League of Nations – Wells memorandum

- Its control of raw materials, of shipping, and its power to exclude for an indefinite period enemy or even neutral peoples until they subscribe to and give pledges of their acceptance of its principles should be emphasized. -Northcliffe to the British Foreign Secretary (MI6) May 1918

International City, an LRH lecture 24 March 1964 –“I want to talk to you about a project having to do with world peace. So here’s a plan, an International Objective is the name of the plan at large and the plan itself is the International City, which merely says a government of Earth. And they’re all built around a central capital of its own which is very bombproof. Built under a mountain. Artificial mountain which you could never destroy. And a bunker of huge proportions and that of course would be an international parliament of Earth, which then had certain powers and so forth, over various nations.[Parliament – BRITISH FORM OF GOVERNMENT]Seventh, bring about the creation of a small, effective armed force for the United Nations, dismantling or abolishment of all other war facilities.  Well, naturally, if they were the only ones that got atomic bombs then their main police action would be devoted to whether or not anybody else was manufacturing atomic bombs. And they just make sure that that wouldn’t happen…Persuade stable and real international economic measures.  In other words, do something to keep money in balance, like the World International Bank, that tries to keep the lid on. Persuade the United Nations and national governments that the activities of the United Nations and national governments should be limited to … And then we limit what a national government should be up to. “

That’s a consistency of almost one hundred years!

There’s only one way that could be done.

The metaphoric “torch” has to be passed from one generation to another.

Intentionally.

Secretly.

Possible replacements would have to be sought out, scrutinized and analyzed, and then chosen by one or more still living previous “heads” of this operation.

That is the only way an Enslaver gets that kind of consistency, he has to go through all kinds of machinations to get a continuance. As compared to those that truly live and breathe the truth from within – the Enslavers’ nemesis. They, like the truth, are eternal and need no machinations of any kind to know who they are or what they are doing. This makes them rather hard to control with Propaganda, as you might imagine.

Is it any wonder Enslavers so love to propagate the joy of “multiple opinions”, and are so desperate to keep the other “kids” playing with them?

Exactly. It only works when they are the only game, and when much better players show up? Their game is seen to be the slimy and BORING snake-oil traveling salesman act that it is.

That’s not adventure. That’s not Romance. That’s not Peace. That’s not Joy.

THEY CAN DO NONE OF THESE THINGS – as Enslavers.

They can only tell stories about it.

Now let’s have a look at some examples of the different types of Propaganda and different mediums of it’s delivery – in this case examples of written propaganda in the form of novels.

.

Cliff Notes – Propaganda Writers and Slogans

.

The word propaganda has always meant LIES TO THE PEOPLE by men and women whose hands were literally… dripping in blood.

In 1622, The Pope and friends were engaged in propagating LIES about human history – otherwise known as RELIGION. Pope Gregory XV established the Congregatio de Propaganda Fide the congregation for propagating the faith . Referred to informally as Propaganda.

.

Propaganda glorifying a “novel” as the vehicle

.

recently declassified CIA document covers the subject of Psychological Warfare, (written in 1942 approx.) and under the heading of media methods for bringing about the psychological states they wish to bring about, you see this:

We see books listed, but novels (meaning fiction for the masses) are particularly singled out.

.

Goals to be gained by Propaganda

.

From Psychological Warfare – It’s Weakness

Creswell to Bruce, CIA Declassified document.

1.      Intimidate the enemy…It was the effect on the target’s mind that mattered.

2.      Confuse the enemy…It was the effect on the target’s mind that mattered.

3.      Weaken the enemy’s will to resist…It was the effect on the target’s mind that mattered.

4.      Creating internal dissidence and disturbance by expertly setting against one another….It was the effect on the target’s mind that mattered.

5.      Alienate from the enemy the moral and sentimental support of public opinion wherever it may be favorable to him, and particularly among…the allies…whom he may happen to have…It was the effect on the target’s mind that mattered.

6.      Build up and maintain the morale and fighting spirit of our own population, and our allies and associates.

7.      Create favorable public opinion toward our efforts…

.

“…they embrace every known form of communication of information.”

Examples

Here are some examples of Intelligence Operatives carrying out their “missions” using the written word in the form of fiction – Novels and Novellas.

A Novella is a shorter form of a novel, like what you see in Magazines.

.

1928 – Alexander Wilson, author and SIS/MI6 spy – publishes The Devil’s Cocktail

This book propagandized the “greatness” of this ‘global secret service’ and it also incorporated characteristics of ‘C’ – Mansfield-Cumming, the first head of SIS/

June 1929 William Pelley (of the later Silver Shirts/Pro-Nazi group) Novella example Propaganda on how World War I and the loss of so many men was good for women:

William Pelley – Life is to Find Out, The American magazine June 1929

The character of a bereaved widow whose husband was killed in World War I

…being alone was exactly what I needed—to develop my character—to make me strong—to show me the shallowness, the emptiness, of fear. Life was to find out what the fear was like in all its stark tragedy—to go through it-to leave it behind me—to follow the light.

1952 18 March –. the 007 or James Bond stories written by British Naval Military Intelligence (MI6) man Ian Fleming glorifying British Intelligence and Mansfield-Cumming (first head of MI6, 1909) first appeared –

.

Science Fiction – a propaganda vehicle to influence the masses

.

Even the origin of the term and genre of Science Fiction was completely meant as a propaganda tool to “educate” the public. It was originally called Scientific Fiction and then evolved into Science Fiction, the term we know it as today.

- From Amazing Stories – The Resurrection of Lemuria

“Amazing Stories was the first science fiction magazine, started by Hugo Gernsback in 1926. He envisioned “scientific fiction” as a way to educate people about science and technology. Gernsback felt the pleasure of fiction could make the educational pill of science easier to swallow.

Amazing Stories was a Propaganda tool, is the bottom line.”

L. Ron Hubbard

From An Alternate History of Dianetics – Beginnings:

    L. Ron Hubbard generated a number of “cover stories” for what he was doing during the years leading up to World War II, one of which was the lie that he “sold a movie” in Hollywood.

In a later taped lecture of 18 October 1958, entitled The Story of Dianetics and Scientology, Hubbard lies and says that he had “sold a movie – Dive Bomber” right at the beginning of the War for 10,000 dollars, which he put in a safe deposit box. He also said hismovie starred Wallace Beery. There was a movie called Dive Bomber, but it was from a story by Frank Wead – screenplay by Wead and Buckner. It starred Errol Flynn, not Wallace Beery. Dive Bomber was a propaganda film, designed to drum up support for World War II, and it turned out to be one of Warner’s biggest hits of 1941, generating a profit in excess of $1 million.

Here’s the original trailer – [see original article]

Hubbard invented that convoluted explanation to cover how he had the money to buy a yacht after the War basically, but also to try and cover up what he was really doing in the years leading up to World War II.

In the same lecture – he says this:

I kept on writing.  I wrote more and more successfully.  Everything was going along fine.  Went down to Hollywood, wrote pictures, things like this.  Had a very full life, as a matter of fact, professionally.  And all the time I was hiding behind the horrible secret.  And that is I was trying to find out what the mind was all about.  And I couldn’t even tell my friends; they didn’t understand.  They said, “Here’s Hubbard, he’s leading a perfectly wonderful life.  He gets to associate with movie actresses.  He knows hypnotism and so has no trouble with editors.  He has apartments and stuff.” They said-couldn’t understand, every time I’d try to mention it, why I would be interested in anybody’s mind or anybody’s life.  I used to plague them most awfully and ask them embarrassing questions.

He’s dancing around the fact that what he was really doing was taking drugs, standing by and watching people get electro-shocked and drugged, and in general having a good old time mentoring with psychiatrists, Psycho-analysts, Propaganda artists, War-Mongers and “One World” planners.

Campbell and Hubbard Move Into Position

July 30, 1937 L. Ron Hubbard re-surfaces and publishes Buckskin Brigades

October 5, 1937John W. Campbell re-surfaces and is hired at Astounding Science Fiction magazine.

March 1938, a special section funded by MI6 was created for propaganda, headed by Sir Campbell Stuart.

May 1938 John W. Campbell given full authority for Astounding Science Fiction magazine by the British company Street and Smith, one of the world’s largest publishers.

May 1938 L. Ron Hubbard goes to New York, Street and Smith want him to help fill the pages of their newly acquired magazine, Astounding Science Fiction.  He is asked to write Science Fiction stories about real people-not robots, planets and spaceships. “The Dangerous Dimension, ” his first story for Astounding Science Fiction, appears in the July issue.

The End Is Not Yet Astounding Science Fiction magazine.

“When nations are in trouble and people starve, they inevitably turn to a Messiah,” he continued.

“…you had a counterpart in our plane, just as I have one in yours. He worked, thought, organized and worked again. From the wreathing smoke of our ruins he raised a civilization greater than any of the past. He gave his life in the endeavor, but there are happy millions who worship him here now.-– Professor MacIlwraith

“My counterpart there?– Martel

“Yes, that portion of you which took this plane. A god he is, a hero beyond the maddest story of any Valhalla.– Professor MacIlwraith

Operation Hubbard as The Messiah #2 is covered in a Scribd article The Scientology Messiah Project – Mission Order 1: Portray L. Ron Hubbard as the Maitreya… which happened in the 1970’s. This time, the Operation was trying to position Hubbard as the Buddha.

This operation was headed by Nancy Many, full time Guardian’s Office and later OSA Intelligence Operative and Laurel Sullivan, Hubbard’s personal Public Relations Officer, and assisted by David Ziff, editor of the Scientology propaganda vehicle Advance! magazine and son of the ZIFF PUBLISHING magnate, World War I Zionist William B. Ziff who paradoxically, married a Nazi collaborator.

Brief Review of when this particular propaganda was started and by whom –

Here are the previous people saying the same line:

1891 Creation of the Round Table by Cecil Rhodes – Slavemaster – Africa The goal was making the peoples of the world into subjects of a Monarchy A British Monarchy.

His public propaganda about his goals was that he:

  • sought to diminish nationalism
increase awareness among people that they belonged to the larger human community.

1938 – Lord Northcliffe, head of the British Intelligence Propaganda department formed in 1938 and funded by MI6.

October 1942  Hubbard Novella example #2 – Propagandizing Lurian Kabbalah/Freudian concepts of ‘impressed memories’, plus parallels to William Pelley and Bernard Baruch in that “death” and “war” are good for you, as is being separate from a body in a state of being dispassionate and uncaring of life’s so-called ‘littleness’.

The ‘impressed memories’ idea could also be considered an obvious forerunner for the later Dianetics – with it’s propaganda that ‘engrams are the sole cause of aberration.

All of the below is excerpted from my article The Term ‘Time Track’ – First Use.

L. Ron Hubbard The Beast.

Published in Astounding Science Fiction magazine, October 1942 Issue, Vol.30, № 2.

The character “Ginger Cranston” has been mauled on Venus by some animal and is re-tracing his steps.

“Step by step, turn by turn of the trail, a thing was growing inside Ginger Cranston, a thing which was like a lash upon his nerves. His back was slashed with the wounds he had received and the wounds burned, burned with memory.

His back was cringing away from the thing it had experienced and as the minutes went the feeling increased. At each or any instant he expected to have upon him once again the shock of attack, from behind, fraught with agony and terror.

“He tried to reassure himself by inspecting the low-hanging limbs under which they passed; but the memory was there.

“Deep within he knew that the beast had a thing which belonged to Ginger, a thing which Ginger had never imagined could be stolen. And until he met that beast and killed that beast, he would not recover his own.

“…da juju [the mysterious beast that attacked him] had him, had his heart and soul, which was far worse than merely having his life.

In the next passage, you can see Hubbard presenting one of the “your real identity” ideas that was beginning to be pushed harder by the Enslavers at this time period. The “your real identity” elements poetically in use here, show up much more obviously in Scientology materials of the1951/1952 era. Very Lurian Kabala of him.

“Death was a final conclusion-or was it a beginning? And if he took it now- Suddenly he saw where his thought had led him and drew back in terror from the lip of the chasm. Then, as one wonders how far he would have fallen had he slipped, he crept cautiously back and thoughtfully regarded the bottomless, unknowable deep, finding within himself at this strange moment a power to regard such a thing with a detached attitude, to dispassionately weigh a thing which he believed to be in his hand to choose.

He seemed to fall away from himself in body and yet stand there, an untouchable, uncaring personality who had but to extend a crooking finger and call unto himself all there was to know. Suspended in time, in action, in human thought, he regarded all he was, had been, would be. There were no words to express this identity, this timelessness, only a feeling of actually existing for the first time; layer upon layer of a nameless something had been peeled away to leave a naked, knowing thing; a mask was gone from his eyes.

“For perhaps an hour, even a day, nothing could touch him, neither sadness nor triumph.

Now let’s get into the cliff notes version of a Propaganda history time-relating to this goal of Britain (with America as it’s billy club) to rule the world. The following time-ordered information is taken from two of the Alternate History of Dianetics series..

  1. Roaring 40’s – Charles Lindbergh
  2. Calling All Liars – Beginnings of The OSS

The entries will have (1) or (2) listed by them, that will link to the corresponding articles.

The cliff notes version does not contain many of the images nor the full information found in the parent articles. Cliff Notes versions are intended for use as both stand-alone and companion pieces.

1909 - Sir Mansfield Cumming, head of MI6 –some of the first officers Cumming-Smith recruited were writers. He recruited Somerset Maugham and Compton Mackenzie. Smith-Cumming was building himself a pool of agents. (2)

1917 – April 13 US President Woodrow Wilson founded the Committee on Public Information through Executive Order 2594. The committee consisted of George Creel (chairman) and as ex officio members the Secretaries of: State (Robert Lansing), War (Newton D. Baker), and the Navy (Josephus Daniels). (2)

British Intelligence oversaw the formation of the U.S. War Propaganda department – the CPI.

Sir Campbell Stuart (later head of the Propaganda division of MI6 in 1938) was serving as the  Military Attache (MI6) to the British Embassy in Washington D.C., 1917, and was Vice-Chairman of the London Headquarters of the British War Mission to the United States.

The correlating British department was the Department of Information which was set up under the Foreign Office – (MI6) Mr. John Buchan was appointed the head. [pic]

Edward L. Bernays, along with others at the CPI worked to influence public opinion towards supporting American participation in World War I, via a prolonged propaganda campaign. He directed the CPI’s Latin News Service.

Bernays said about this time “this was the first time in our history that information was used as a weapon of war.

The CPI generated complete fabrications, such as images and stories of German soldiers killing babies and hoisting them on bayonets.

They formed front groups to Spy on Americans with names like the American Protective League and the American Defense Society. These groups spied, tapped telephones, and opened mail in an effort to ferret out “spies and traitors.” The targets of these groups was anyone who called for peace, questioned the Allies’ progress, or criticized the government’s policies.

1917 – Balfour Mission  – Balfour, in June of 1917, left behind him on his “tour” of American a British Bureau of Information, located on Fifth avenue at 43rd street. It was renamed the Department of Information. (2)

By the end of 1918 there were branches of it in Washington, Chicago, and San Francisco and it’s staff in all comprised a little short of 100 people. It was divided into 12 departments.

In a nutshell – Balfour’s mission was an Intelligence and Propaganda mission. He was assessing the American People and trying to figure out how to “win their hearts and minds” to get us to do their bidding and go KILL PEOPLE for the benefit of their Monarchy World Plan.

February, 1918, the new Ministry of Information was set up under Lord Beaverbrook… supervising various sections of the Ministry, were Lord Rothermere. Sir Roderick Jones, Mr. John Buchan, Mr. Arnold Bennett, Mr. Harold Snagge and Mr. Evelyn Wrench. Wellington House and the previous Department of Information were absorbed into Lord Beaverbrook’s department.  (2)

The Brits then had what they called “Nationals” who were in charge of coordinating propaganda in other countries.

For general administrative purposes such countries as France, Russia, Italy, Sweden and Holland were each allotted to a “National,” while “Nationals” were also appointed for Scandinavia, India, the United States, South America and other parts of the world. These ” Nationals ” met together in conference twice a week to discuss the details of their campaign. The methods adopted in the United States have already been described in Chapter CCCVL, pages 100 to 108, and similar methods, adapted to local circumstances, were employed in other countries.

(you can see CCCVL British Missions in America here)

February 1918 – Simultaneously with the Ministry of Information the Department of Propaganda in Enemy Countries (under the Foreign Office/MI6) was established under Viscount Northcliffe to undertake propaganda in the enemy countries of Germany, Austria – Hungary and Bulgaria. (2)

He recruited people with 3 requirements. Expert knowledge of Continental politics, of the psychology of enemy peoples, and of publicity methods. All three qualifications were vitally necessary to the complete equipment of the department.

Northcliffe’s deputy was Sir Campbell Stuart [sir campbell deputy pic]

Northcliffe arranged an Ad-Com (advisory committee) of men of affairs and publicists :

  • Colonel the Earl of Denbigh, C.V.O.
  • Mr. Robert Donald (then Editor of the Daily Chronicle).
  • Sir Roderick Jones, K.B.E. (Managing Director of Reuter’s Agency).
  • Sir Sidney Low.
  • Sir Charles Nicholson, Bt,, M.P.
  • Mr. James O’Grady, M.P.
  • Mr. H. Wickham Steed (Foreign Editor, and later Editor-in-Chief, of The Times).
  • Mr. H. G. Wells. – * see next excerpt
  • Secretary, Mr. H. K. Hudson, C.B.E.

This Committee held fortnightly meetings at which the progress of the work was reported and discussed.

Early February 1918 – Lord Northcliffe arranges a small inter-allied committee which met at Crewe House early in February. There were present, besides Lord Northcliffe and his principal assistants, Lord Beaverbrook, Mr. C. J. Phillips of the Foreign Office, Monsieur Franklin-Bouillon, (representing France) and Signor Gallenga-Stuart (representing Italy) and their assistants, together with representatives of the United States.  This is when the League of Nations idea is first discussed. (2)

1918 – May 27 – Northcliffe Department of Propaganda first Campaign is at Austria, then War of the Worlds writer H.G. Wells takes over the campaign towards Germany. (2)

1918 – Northcliffe and his advisors decide that cinema is the way to reach the “little people so they manufacture special vehicles to bring the propaganda movies to them – called cinemotors. (2)

1918 – May – Northcliffe submits Well’s Germany Propaganda Plan to the Foreign Secretary (e.g. also to the head of MI6) (2)

Northcliffe’s League of Nations part of the letter.

Wells memorandum – Its control of raw materials, of shipping, and its power to exclude for an indefinite period enemy or even neutral peoples until they subscribe to and give pledges of their acceptance of its principles should be emphasized.

Compare to spy Charles Lindbergh speech of October 13, 1939, same basic idea as Northcliffe.

1918 – July 1 – the American CPI Committee work was curtailed after July 1, 1918 because of the British recognizing the backfiring of their Propaganda and forming a new department instead, plus it was the time of the “Peace” conferences. Bernays wanted to attend the Peace Conferences in Europe but he was not allowed due to the poor reputation (lying) of the CPI. (2)

1918 – August 14, 15, 16 – Just after the American CPI’s activities were severely curtailed, a conference was to coordinate the propaganda efforts and a new “Inter-Allied” body was formed to do “Peace” and “Enemy” propaganda. (2)

“As these multifarious activities came into full operation it became evident that added effectiveness would result if they were co-ordinated with those of Allied and Associated Powers who were already cooperating to some extent. “

“It was resolved to create an Inter-Allied body for enemy propaganda.

…    Lord Northcliffe’s Committee came to the conclusion that a policy of peace propaganda should be quickly formulated for use not only in enemy countries but also to explain to Allies and neutrals the general principles underlying British peace aims. It seemed, however, desirable that this basis of policy should not be the work of Crewe House alone, as the earlier documents were, but ought to be discussed by representatives of all departments in any way concerned with propaganda work. Invitations were, therefore, addressed to :

  • The War Cabinet.
  • The Admiralty.
  • The War Office.
  • The Foreign Office.
  • The Treasury.
  • The Air Ministry.
  • The Colonial Office.
  • The India Office.
  • The Ministry of Information.
  • The War Aims Committee.
  • The Overseas Bureau.

1918 – October 4 – the Inter-Ally Committee on Propaganda in Enemy Countries met for the first time on October 4, 1918 with MI6 man Sir Campbell Stuart taking the chair in the absence, through illness, of Lord Northcliffe. Northcliffe had a nervous breakdown. In other words – he went crazy. (2)

At this and subsequent meetings a memorandum embodying the basic principles of a just and lasting peace was discussed and agreed upon as a policy for common use. (League of Nations) Soon afterwards the armistices were signed and the Policy Committee was dissolved.

1918 – November 11 – The Armistice was signed – (2)

1918 – November 12 – George Creel halted the domestic activities of the CPI, but the Foreign operations continued for another year, which would include Bernays. (2)

1918 – late November  – Council on Foreign Relations – Whitney Shepardson goes to Europe as Aide to Colonel E.M. House “to arrange America’s presence at the coming Paris Peace Conference.” Considering Shepardson’s connections, that’s a cover story. I’m sure they did do that but the real reason they were there was to confer with the British (their masters) over how they wanted to proceed at the coming Peace talks. (1)

See 1939 October for some additional background on Shepardson.

1919 – June 13 CPI  Foreign operations ended June 30, 1919 by an act of Congress (2)

1919 – August 21 – Wilson abolished the CPI by executive order 3154 on August 21, 1919. The organization’s records were turned over to the Council of National Defense. (2)

The curtailment of the American Committee that Edward L. Bernays was on, (CPI – July 1918) occurred after the The British, who were the lead in the Propaganda efforts, decided on a more formal approach and took over the Propaganda efforts in Britain. There were too many embarassing failures going on that were backfiring seriously.

1920 8 May – H. Wickham Steed, of Northcliffe’s MI6 Propaganda department endorsed the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion as a genuine document. (2)

He wrote the  leader entitled “The Jewish Peril, a Disturbing Pamphlet: Call for Inquiry”, where he wrote about The Protocols of the Elders of Zion:

What are these ‘Protocols’? Are they authentic? If so, what malevolent assembly concocted these plans and gloated over their exposition? Are they forgery? If so, whence comes the uncanny note of prophecy, prophecy in part fulfilled, in part so far gone in the way of fulfillment?”.

1921 July 29 – Cecil Rhode’s Round Table forms The Council on Foreign relations in New York. (2)

After WW I, the Round Table created many subgroups. Two key groups established by the Round Table were the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London and the Council On Foreign Relations in New York.

1922 – British Intelligence (MI6), through a U.S. Embassy member directs Putzi Hanfstaengle to Captain Truman Smith, Military attache in Berlin,  who recruits him to be his agent in Germany. He became part of Hitler’s intimate staff for the next 11 years. (1)

“Putzi” Hanfstaengl (1887-1975) identified himself as an American agent in his memoirs. He hobnobbed with FDR and other members of the elite at Harvard and later in NYC where he ran his father’s art business.

He returned to germany in 1922 and a fellow member of the Harvard Hasty Pudding club who worked at the U.S. Embassy, asked Hanfstaengl to assist a military attache sent to observe the political scene in Munich. Just before returning to Berlin the attache, which was Captain Truman Smith, the American Military attache in Berlin (G-2 Intelligence), suggested to Hanfstaengl to go to a Nazi rally as a favor and report his impressions of Hitler. Hanfstaengl was so fascinated by Hitler that he soon became one of his most intimate followers, although he did not formally join the Nazi Party until 1931. “What Hitler was able to do to a crowd in 2½ hours will never be repeated in 10,000 years,” Hanfstaengl said.

1933 – Hanfstaengel becomes Hitler’s Foreign Press Chief from 1933-1937. This means he was in charge of FOREIGN PROPAGANDA writings in newspapers and radio announcements. (1)

He was removed from Hitler’s inner circle due to conflicts over propaganda with Geobbel’s

Hanfstaengel would later be brought to the U.S. to work for the OSS in 1942.

“Donovan and Roosevelt, early in 1942, conferred regarding Hanfstaengel and decided they wanted to use him again as an intelligence operative and psychological-warfare advisor – this time underneath Donovan’s OSS. President Roosevelt personally arranged the details and on 30 June 1942 Hanfstaengel was turned over to the U.S. (he had been in a war camp in Canada). He arrived at Fort Belvoir, an Army camp.

This, was the beginning of Donovan’s top-secret operation, codenamed the “S-Project”. Hanfstaengel revealed information on approximately 400 Nazi leaders. He provided 68 pages of information on Hitler alone, including personal details of Hitler’s private life, and he helped OSS linked Professor Henry Murray, the Director of the Harvard Psychological Clinic, and psychoanalyst Walter C. Langer and other experts to create a report for the OSS, in 1943, designated the “Analysis of the Personality of Adolph Hitler”.

(Note: there was another Donovan operation with China that was also referred to as “S” Project)”

1936 – Hanfstaengel’s cover is blown and an elaborate prank was arranged by Hitler and Goebbels where he thought he was going to be dropped out of an airplane sans parachute – it didn’t happen but he was so scared by this that he defected. (1)

See why Truman Smith needed Lindbergh? His other spy, Hanfstaengel, had lost his close position to Hitler.

1936 May 25 – Truman Smith recruits Charles Lindbergh to be his agent (1)

Truman Smith, U.S. Army Military Attache to Germany, G-2 (an Intelligence division) wrote a letter to Lindbergh on May 25, 1936, relaying an invitation from Hermann Göring to Charles Lindbergh to come to Germany for a “visit”. (1)

March 1938 Sinclair requests that Stuart  study the problem of proper dissemination of propaganda. ‘C’ had also made Major Grand head of his ‘D’ Organisation, responsible for the dissemination through all channels outside this country of material to enemy and neutral countries: Major Grand proposed to do this through broadcasts, the neutral press, whispering campaigns, etc. (2)

March 1938 – Just before the end of Sinclair’s tenure, a special section funded by MI6 was created for propaganda, headed by Sir Colin Campbell Stuart. (2)

Stuart was already an old hand in the field of Propaganda for the masses, he was the Deputy Chairman and managing director of the London Times Publishing Company under Lord Northcliffe – as this caricature of 1922 shows. (drawing by Arthur George Racey)

The Times had been bought bought by newspaper magnate, Alfred Harmsworth, later Lord Northcliffe, whom in 1918, would be the Director of Propaganda in Enemy Countries, and Campbell-Stuart would (not surprisingly) be hired as his right-hand man.

He was also the Managing Director of the London Daily mail from 1919-1922.

His previous intelligence career was serving as the  Military Attache to the British Embassy in Washington D.C., 1917.

His cover from the years 1922 forward, (after World War I had ended) was that he was Chairman of the Executive Committee of the English Historical Society. This was the cover he used to travel to various parts of the world ostensibly seeking “genealogical information”.

He was a Canadian.

The new Department was allocated premises at Electra House and was dubbed Department EH. (EH – Electra House) (pic)

This building was Communications central for the Brits, it served as the administrative headquarters for Imperial and International Communications, which became Cable and Wireless Ltd. Secret conduits were laid to here from the Central Telegraph Exchange at Moorgate, which monitored the telephone lines of every foreign embassy in London.

1939 April – Charles Lindbergh, after working as a spy for case officer Smith in Europe and Germany for more than three years, returned to reside again in the United States in April, 1939, and immediately began Propaganda operations.

1939 31 AugustFalse attack “tannenberg” arranged to give an excuse for the German Army to go on the move and begin World War II. ” (1)

From James Russell Forgan Jr. Married Nazi War Criminal Relative -

1939 – 31 August – Six Einsatzgruppen were constituted under the code word “Tannenberg for the occupation of Poland.

Essentially, Germans dressed up as Polish soldiers,  then “invaded” a German radio station and planted a dead body of a “Polish radical” there. The Codeword that started the Operation (means GO!) was “Grandma’s dead.”

1939 SeptemberJust two weeks after the fake “attack” on Germany by Poland (providing the ‘cover” needed to then invade Poland  and then Great Britain and France could declare war on Germany – thereby starting World War II)   Lindbergh then delivered a nationwide radio address urging the United States to stay out of the war. (1)

In this speech Lindbergh proclaimed that Nazi victory in Europe was certain and because of this America should stay out and deal with the consequences. Later in the speech, Lindbergh commented:

“These wars in Europe are not wars in which our civilization is defending itself against some Asiatic intruder”.

1939 September 11  – Propaganda – at the same time period as Lindbergh in Reader’s Digest, Life magazine (British propaganda vehicle) was helping to ‘promote’ Nazis at this time, the issue carried a full spread on Hermann Göring. (1)

1939 – September 16 – Propaganda – Lindbergh speech pushing “western civilization– that’s an approved British propaganda euphemism, from the MI6 formed propaganda department of 1938, that worked directly with Tavistock men. (1)

Check out the last part of his speech…:

“The gift of civilized life must still be carried on. It is more important than the sympathies, the friendships, the desires of any single generation. This is the test before America now. This is the challenge—to carry on Western civilization.”

Can you see the testing it out forerunner there of what the Tavistock/OSS Propaganda men just a year or so later had President Roosevelt make his battle cry?

We must make America an ‘Arsenal of Democracy – remember that? If not, it is in this article:

An Alternate History of Dianetics – The Roaring 40′s, 1940-1941

President Roosevelt first used the term “Arsenal of Democracy” on December 29, 1940 in a radio broadcast to the American people. He explained the importance of supplying the people of Europe, at the time primarily Britain with the “implements of war”. He said that the United States “must be the great arsenal of democracy”.

the United States “must be the great arsenal of democracy”.

1939 October 13 – PROPAGANDA – Lindbergh Speech – Britain’s goals pushed (1)

Here is an example of one of Lindbergh’s lead up rallying speeches, also broadcast to the nation over the Mutual radio network on October 13, 1939, “Neutrality and War,”. It’s pretty obvious this is a prepared propaganda speech, and not created by Lindbergh himself – just look at all the buzz terms and ideas incorporated into it!

Note: another site has this titled as:

What Our Decision Should Be

OUR POLICY MUST BE AS CLEAR CUT AS OUR SHORE LINES

By COLONEL CHARLES A. LINDBERGH, Aviator

Delivered over Radio from Washington, October 13, 1939

I believe that we should adopt as our program of American neutrality – as our contribution to western civilization – the following policy:

  1. An embargo on offensive weapons and munitions.
  2. The unrestricted sale of purely defensive armaments.
  3. The prohibition of American shipping from the belligerent countries of Europe and their danger zones.
  4. The refusal of credit to belligerent nations or their agents.

Whether or not this program is adopted depends upon the support of those of us who believe in it. The United States of America is a democracy. The policy of our country is still controlled by our people. It is time for us to take action. There has never been a greater test for the democratic principle of government.

We know what that really means

MONARCHY disguised as “Democracy”.

The future head of the OSS SIB, 1943 – Whitney H. Shepardson

SIB = “Secret Intelligence Branch” patterned directly on the British SIS, ‘Secret Intelligence Service’

Whitney H. Shepardson, (then Director of the Council on Foreign Relations) helps Lindbergh with his cover of being “anti-war” in 1939 and then later becomes the head of the OSS Secret Intelligence Branch in 1943, is also mixed up with AIC/United Fruit/International Railways at this same time period.

When Whitney H. Shepardson took over the OSS SIB from Robert Bruce, the British Special Operations Executive, in 1943, he was already well-informed concerning Hanfstaengel and Lindbergh. In fact, he was one of the people helping build Lindbergh’s cover as far back as 1939.

When he was in New York, October 23, 1939 –Headlines:

SHEPARDSON CALLS LINDBERGH ARROGANT; In Montreal Address He Assails Colonel’s Neutrality Views

MONTREAL, Oct. 23 (Canadian Press)–Colonel Charles A. Lindbergh’s broadcast on United States neutrality was denounced today by W.H. Shepardson of New York, director of the Council on Foreign Relations, who described Colonel Lindbergh’s statement as “irresponsible.”

.

A little more background on Shepardson

Between 1925 and 1927 Shepardson served as a director on John D. Rockefeller’s General Education Board [established 1902], specialising in the development of agricultural and biological research. However innocuous that sounds – it was not. You could say that Shephardson was involved with the ‘dumbing down of America’ while supposedly being pro-education. He was helping Rockefeller push a Tavistock/Frankfurt School ideals – one kind of education for the workers, and something totally different (and far better) for the elite.

The American International corporation (AIC) was indirectly controlling both United Fruit and the International Railways company that Shepardson was on the board of. This puts Shepardson indirectly connected to the AIC – and the man he took over the OSS SIB from, Robert Bruce, his brother was on the board of AIC. And AIC was mixed up with Chase Bank…who was funding Coughlin and other so-called ‘pro-Nazi’ plants. That’s not much of a surprise, when you read about AIC’s background (discussed further a little later in this article).

About CHASE NATIONAL BANK, (whose directors are mixed up with AIC also):

Note: None of the following was known by the average public until May 2004, when the CIA declassified thousands of documents from World War I and II time periods, due to the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act of 1998.

The FBI, in November 1939, began tracing expenditures from the German consular account at Chase National. One find was that it made large payments to J.P. Morgan in a financial scheme to try and recoup Morgan’s losses on German debts . Another find was that money was being disbursed through Robert C. Mayer & Co. (one of the five permit holders in the ruckwanderer business). In April 1940, it was learned that this company had funnelled significant donations in small, untraceble five and ten-dollar bills to Father Charles Coughlin. There is an article that talks about him here.

To read more on how they also were funneling the money and assets stripped from Jews they were sending to concentration camps, see My Family Tree II

.

WHAT IS THE AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL CORPORATION?

The American International Corporation was formed in 1915 to fund the Russian Revolution (Bolshevik), and was the source of financing for German espionage and covert operations in the U.S. and South America during the World War I. Von Pavenstedt, the chief German espionage paymaster in the U.S., was senior partner of Amsinck & Co. G. Amsinck & Co., Inc. of New York was acquired by American International Corporation  in November 1917.

THE SOURCE OF FINANCING FOR GERMAN ESPIONAGE AND COVERT OPERATIONS IN THE U.S…..

in World War I.

And they are still around in time for World War II – anyone want to guess who they are financing THEN?

That’s right.

HITLER.

I told you he was a sock-puppet.

This also means, (and it was true) that they were financing both the “enemy” and the “good guy” in World War I ….and  World War II.

Think about what that means.

~end of that entry~

.

1939 November – Lindbergh, Truman Smith’s spy, writes propaganda for Reader’s Digest – closely follows Brit Cecil Rhodes ideals about “bloodlines– EUGENICS (1)

Lindbergh “rushed into print with an urgent pronunciamento”…in language startlingly reminiscent of Alfred Rosenberg, says one modern author:

We, the heirs of European culture, are on the verge of a disastrous war, a war within our own family of nations, a war which will reduce the strength and destroy the treasures of the white race… Asia presses toward us on the Russian border, all foreign races stir relentlessly… We can have peace and security only so long as we band together or preserve that most priceless possession our inheritance of European blood, only so long as we guard ourselves against attack by foreign armies, and dilution by foreign races.

…“Our civilization depends on a western wall of race and arms which can hold back…the infiltration of inferior blood”.

When he was onboard ship on his way back to the U.S., made the following entry in his diary (which I’m sure was spied on and read at the time).

His diary entry on 10 April 1939 reads “a few Jews add strength and character to our country, but too many create chaos. And we are getting too many. This present immigration will have a reaction”.

1943 – Whitney H. Shepardson becomes head of the OSS Secret Intelligence Branch (1)
